Excellent steak and shredded beef tacos, not to mention the BRC! This was our first time there as locals. This has become our favorite Mexican food joint out of Ventura and Carpinteria!
I got the monkey bowl (tostada) caritas... definitely get that again. Its inside a liquor store so don't expect a nice setting...take it to the beach. I thought my first time there the prices are high but they give huge helpings.

Best burritos I've had in a long time. Adobado had that bit of delicious crunchy burnt on one side but also tender, just perfectly cooked all around. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and that the cook still has that passion for making food you don't see (or taste) a lot of these days. Check it out before or after a walk on the beach, it is inside the liquor store so don't miss it!
