Heard this was the "SPOT" for a great burger. It was great. I ordered chili cheese fries too. Amazing. Was in town for a little vacation and this place was recommended. Easy pick up. Cash only. Local hangout. Will definitely return.
The food was great. Service and friendliness of staff was lacking. I specifically asked for a plain burger with cheese and bacon for my kids and when they brought it out it had all toppings and sauce on it. I brought it back and they wiped off the sauce and toppings and handed it back with no cheese. I brought it up again and then they complained and said I never ordered cheese to begin with. The clam chowder was very disappointing. The two bites that were in the bread bowl tasted good. Proportion of bowl to chowder was 95/5. Also, just an FYI for the chicken strips: they’re pressed, like McDonald’s. Not real strips. The burger, fries and onion rings are consistently good. So stick with the basics and you’re good to go.I(t was quite cold outside, so I didn’t inspect the food before I took it home…otherwise I would have taken the bowl back)
