“I visited this restaurant twice. It was so good I went back for seconds, lol. However, the second time I ordered a meat meal. The bbq Hawaiin chicken was so good both times, but the chicken Katsu lacked seasoning but was crunchy and hot. I loved the macaroni salad! I will still eat here, but I will order the bbq chicken

“Our family has known Peni, Sherry,there kids and grandkids for over 12 yrs now. Once I saw and smelled the bbq over 12 yrs ago I gravitated towards it and have been a huge fan since. Their island q is the best on the mainland and I recommend trying it all since I don’t have a favorite. You can see the passion and love that this family puts towards sharing a little bit of their heritage through their food with all of us. I highly recommend giving it a try and definitely passing the word to others. Spend some time and say hi and you might also have friends for life. Mahalo 🤙“

“This place hands down is the best Hawaiian plates in the 510. The chicken is fat. The beef is fat. The Mac is hella good. And the plates are priced very well. This place is a solid go too. And the lady that works the counter is always nice.“

“Literally the BEST poke I have EVER had in the Bay Area PERIOD. Genuinely wasn't expecting much but the old lady there PACKED MY BOWL (it could barely even CLOSE). They were NOT playing about their portions and it was 10/10 worth the price. On my soul I will be back. They also gave two medium-sized mango-jasmine tea drinks for FREE?? IN THIS ECONOMY??? “We ended up here tonight after a bad experience at Chuck E Cheese in the center next door. The service was quick and the food very tasty. We decided to order more for the folks at home.“

“I really have no complaints here! The food tastes great, the prices are comparable with most restaurants; we paid roughly $15/person.

I got the steak and chicken, my wife got the lion king box. We both loved the food! Music is pleasant and the bathroom is clean. We’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Classic Hawaiian to go. Given that we are still in COVID you can't eat in and there are no options to eat outside. When you get to the front door the whole place is blocked off by wood and plastic sheeting and transactions are done through a small cardboard box. This is not fast food. This is not health food. It is mayonnaise macaroni, deep fried pork with white rice and gravy. You know what you came here for, you know what you're getting. It'll be good so don't think too much about it and just enjoy it!“

“I come here everyday, but I’ve had complaints, I still love the place and I come in there often!After all, people who work there are super nice every time we arrive, I like to order Chow mein, spicy chicken, with shrimp and vegetables. It’s great! Keep it up! I never wrote a review before ^^ Love it!“
