Toned down flavors for American palate .. spicy one was kind of sweet? but overall ok to give it a try .
The service was pretty slow . And there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. The food was decent.

My wife and I were stuck at home with Covid and didn't want to order another pizza, and we don't use dordash. We were very pleasantly surprised to find out Joyful House delivers! Great food, great prices, and they deliver! FIVE STARS!

My go to is the Hong Kong pan fried noodles with seafood and the salted egg pork chop. Big portions. Owners are lovely. Also weird that Google Maps deleted their old business and reviews. Been going here for years!

Looks like google maps randomly deleted the old listing? I checked and it's the same Joyful House with the same owners as it's been for the past 10 years. Can't imagine getting takeout anywhere else in CV :)
Parking: Parking behind restaurant.
Indeed much joy obtained from this house. Cheese puffs and salt and pepper fish are good.
My husband and I were wandering around and wanted some Chinese food, other than the worst 88 baobab location in CV or the HK BBQ place that we always go for when I don't feel like cooking. Turns out maybe we should avoid these adventures...Someone's smoking in the back kitchen and you can just smell that. Hard to flag someone as they were busy chatting...Black Beans Sauce Shrimp, is more of "black beans sauce onion, pepper" literally only few shrimps... The oil in my eggplant rice, I could probably cook 2+ more dishes ?
Best Chinese food that I have had in a long time. Nice staff. The dinner meals are a lot of food and really good way to try many things .
There was no one in the place when we arrived but the phone rang a lot for to go. We had the family dinner C with orange chicken, brocolli beef, rice and chow mean with won ton soup. We also got chow fun, fried prawns, egg rolls and won tons. Good sauces, fresh produce and tasty crispy. We will go again.

We've ordered dilivery from here several times and were really pleased. Recently we decided to dune in and happy we did. Everything came out so hot we needed burned our tongues being impatient and not waiting for it to cool off. It was soooo good. The staff was amazing, we wanted for nothing. We'll be back!

We have taken out for years and spend plenty of money. Tonight food was excessively dry and brocolli withered. Not fresh...throwing it out.
First time coming here but definitely not the last!!!We were seated quickly and given the menu's. The lady directed us to the lunch specials on the back of the menu and got our drunk order. We ordered the potstickers for a starter and they came out in a timely manner. We then placed our food order. 2 of us got the lunch special which comes with a soup, your protein and rice. The 3rd person got a soup. All I can say is the portions are large and so worth it. The flavor was great and was super happy with the selection. If you haven't eaten here definitely give them a try. Their prices were reasonable and I have left overs for dinner.
Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building.

sorry to say the food isn't very good the personal are fine although that's not why i go out to eat as i am a good cook-i wanted to like the food-but it has to be good for me to write a good review - i dont want others to be led astray and i love good chinese food always have so if you choose to go there dont blame me-RR
Picked up our order. Fried rice, egg goo young. And chicken with mushrooms. $50.00 chicken was raw. UGH. NOT HAPPY. When I went back they didn't even want to look at the chicken I had to open the container up and show them and make them look at it.
