It is not often that I visit or get a carry out from Mother India, on Devonshire in Chatsworth. And every time I do so, I keep telling myself that I should go more often to this cozy, small and superb Indian restaurant. This time we got mutton keema (minced mutton with spices and peas, a spectacular dish) and masala dosa (also prepared very well). The keema came with a portion of rice. This, this was the best Indian food I've ever had. Yes I know that sounds over the top. I could tell that whoever cooks in that kitchen cooks with love and devotion. Everything was made fresh. The spices were vibrant and the colors were beautiful. The place was well decorated and clean. Wait Staff was very nice and helpful. That was an incredible experience. I will be back!! I ordered the The chicken samosa(real pastry!)Coconut Curry and the mango lassi, rice and garlic nana.Yum!!!

This restaurant is so good and the staff is so kind. I always get the Saag Paneer and something else random from the menu and have never been disappointed. The chai is nice and spicy and you can get it with or without sugar. The garlic naan is perfectly chewy and fresh. Will be coming here for years!
