This is one of my go to spots. I’ve had coffee, matcha, refreshing tea, and pastries from here. Each item has always been great and the workers are always lovely too. Plus the caboose look is super cute!
Used to come here all the time when I lived here. They have changed so much. They have 3% processing fee for credit cards. Not the same breakfast burritos from beatnik's or cookie, beagles can't be toasted and my drink was flat (they did remake it). Just disappointed they don't have the some of the great food they use to.
Best 20oz Americano. They also have great breakfast burritos that have unfortunately become smaller and more expensive since Covid but that is not Mr & Mrs Cal Javas doing. They are just having to keep up with all the dollars in circulation, bringing down the value of the US$. Maybe if we quit printing money like the Joker runs the Federal Reserve I can get my veggie burrito huge again. Thank you Cal Java for employing nice people and for keeping it excellent even though...
