Dago Taiwanese Cuisine Reviews
Clean small restaurant serving authentic Taiwanese food in large portions at reasonable prices.
The shrimps in the shrimp omelette were large and fresh. The sauce was just right without being overly salty or sweet. Both specials (chicken chop in black pepper sauce over rice 黑椒雞排飯 and ginger chicken in sesame oil sauce with noodles, 麻油雞麵 $15 each) came with a large iced drink (black tea, green tea, or winter melon syrup) were very good and are good deals....read full review
One of my favorite Taiwanese hidden gem restaurant. Loved it!!!
The dessert here is amazing, cheap, tasty, with good portion. We tried tofu pudding and glass jelly, both are great. The bamboo shoot with stew pork w/ rice is delicious too! Definitely reommended this place.
Dago Taiwanese Cuisine is a hidden gem that serves authentic Taiwanese dishes reminiscent of street food in Taiwan. The restaurant offers huge portions at a reasonable price point, with options for vegan and noodle lovers. The menu features a variety of flavors, including a simple noodle dish with shallots and chili oil, which is a must-try. The condiments are self-serving and free, allowing customers to take as much as they need. The service is quick, attentive, and professional, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal. With its clean and welcoming atmosphere, Dago Taiwanese Cuisine is a highly recommended destination for Taiwanese food enthusiasts.
Customers have praised the restaurant's Popcorn Chicken with Rice, describing the chicken as crispy and flavorful. The Noodle with Fried Pork Chop (Soup) was also a highlight, though some customers found the noodles too soft. The Hot and Sour Chicken with Rice was tasty, but the dipping sauce wasn't to everyone's liking. Customers have also recommended trying the pork chops, shave ice, and oyster vermicelli.
