“Location: Diamond Bar Blvd, inside a quiet strip mall plaza (plenty of parking). South of Temple Ave and North of the 60 freeway off of diamond bar blvd exit.

Seating: Around 8-9 tables, good for small groups or solo diners.

‍ Service: Only one staff member working when I went, but she was friendly and attentive.

Hotpot Style: a little different from the other solo pot restaurant. Each person gets their own pot. You choose your meats & ingredients, then cook them yourself--no overcooked food, no broth boiling over. I liked this style a lot.

Overall: Chill weekday vibe, quiet atmosphere ( not sure if its a slow time or the area is naturally quiet) , and a solid 3.5-4 experience. Great spot if you enjoy solo hotpot without the rush.“

“As someone who had never tried american vegan food, I decided to give them a shot based on the high regards my friends gave this restaurant. I decided to order the cali-burger… and WOW!! The burger was so amazingly delicious that I fell in love with it, then came back a few days later and had my partner try it as well. The food is plain and simple delicious. Their fries are also amazingly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned extremely well. The price of the food was also very fair!! The chefs are always always kind and helpful; it’s a joy speaking with them. Oh my goodness; I was blown away. Everyone needs to try this restaurant; it will blow you away.“

“Today I came here for dinner, it’s a Thursday night -and I ordered:shrimp tempura, catfish stir fry, white rice, and a glass of wine. Everything was delicious!!!

The owner, “lady Aey” helped me with part of my order and she asked if I’d been to Thailand because I liked spicy and asked for the fish sauce- I think I was sounding very sure of what I wanted :) I told her that coincidentally, I was going to Thailand this summer. We exchanged what’s apps and she said she’d help me to plan a great trip.

“This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.

“Variety in menu can sometimes also mean similarly tasting food and curries. This was different. Variety in the menu was refreshing and the food was great, freshly made in front of us - great wok skills and a good show for the kids. Service was welcoming and attentive. Thanks for hosting us.“

“My husband and I live Chop Stop and we used to visit the one in La Verne when I lived in San Dimas or when I visited my mom who still lives there but it has since gone. Then we visited the one in Upland since that is where we live by that too is now gone so this one in Rancho Cucamonga is our go to spot now and we could not be happier. We usually order online or in the app and it is ready by the time we get there. We love that you can customize the salads. We have never had a bad experience.

Dietary restrictions: I am not supposed to have cheese due to high cholesterol so I tend to customize my salad and remove the cheese and add pepperoncinis.“

“Been on the prowl for a new spot for a good breakfast burrito in our new area. It's been more miss than hit with some places charging way too much. Decided to give Taqueria Poncitlan a try and OMG it was amazing and far better than our previous regular place.

I opted for the chorizo, beans, and egg burrito for $10.99 but added avocado, tomatoes, and cheese bringing it to around $14...and still cheaper than some of the $16+ price at other spots.

This thing was huge!! They gave me the green and red salsa which were both great. I would get it with pico de gallo next time instead of tomatoes. Flavor, texture, and freshness was exceptional. Plenty of seating with friendly staff with a casual setting and a TV. Finally found our go-to spot for breakfast burritos!! Woohoo!!“

“My friend mentioned The Pozole Place and suggested we should visit and eat there. We went there this morning, April 28th. We were greeted by a very friendly Server. We ordered pork pozole. I had red and he had the green pozole. To be honest, it was the best and tastiest pozole i ever tasted and ate and i was and grew up next to E.L.A. many years ago. The owners were very friendly and so were the severs . It is a Very nice and clean restaurant . i will definitively be going back and i live 23 miles from The Pozole Place.“

“Got the combo meal with bulgogi and pork soondubu soup. Overall a decent meal. The portions were hearty so definitely get money’s worth. The bulgogi was pretty good, probably the highlight. The side dishes were below average and as you can see only 3 side dishes. The soondubu soup was a bit bland. Flavour wasn’t bad but tasted a little watered down.“

“I visited here recently for the 1st time since pandemic. It was so sad when they closed. They changed name but foods are the same. Mostly I liked it but the famous clam chowder has less clams than before and chicken soup little saltier than before.“

“Ordered pad see ewe and pineapple curry. Both came out very quick and fresh. The curry was so flavorful, it tasted amazing on everything. The pad see ewe had a slight burnt taste but it might have been from the broccoli stems. Over all was a tasty meal, would definitely go back.“

“I just came back from a 3 week vacation in Italy and I was dubious about eating here. Let me tell you, this food was on par and often better than the food I had in Italy.

The potatoes in my soup were freshly cut, bread freshly baked, the tomatoes in my salad tasted fresh off the vine.

I was service quickly, and the staff even out of their way to customize a cheese plate for my daughter.

The manager of this place needs to be promoted to CEO.“

“We had the Vegan Pho spring rolls and egg rolls, Strawberry Macha, coffee latte and passion fruit yogurt drinks. Honestly, we never had Pho and my dad is super picky. He loved the vegan pho soup. The noodles are light not heavy and the broth was extremely flavorful. Fresh veggies on the side to add to taste. The spring rolls are fresh but was not a fan of the peanut sauce. Eggrolls are small and thin but they had nice crunch. It is a little on the expensive since the portions are a little smaller but quality ingredients. Highly recommend the drinks. Overall will eat here again“

I've personally searched far and wide for places that serve clay pot chicken rice, and they definitely got the taste perfected to a tee. First time here with family.

The establishment is pretty much self-service based with a large open dining area with communal tables in the middle and two seat booths along the side walls.

Ordered their combo dumpling bowl with hot & sour soup, pork chop, house noodles, mala spicy beef noodles soup, and oolong milk tea with Bob and pudding.

Place order via kiosk. It was easy to navigate and see what the dish you're ordering looks like.“

“Good food especially for those who eat fish. Not so good for vegetarians. The veggie roll was good. The bento Box lunch was generously proportioned and tasty. The vegetable tempura was expertly fried, and the beans and carrots were especially tasty. All was good, although the salad had way too much stressing.“

I was going to go to the drive thru but I decided to eat inside and chill and she was just amazing from the start. She took my order and gave me some food suggestions and I was so pleased. I got the chipotle chicken avo melt and a latte. She even walked by my table and asked how did I like it. You really don't get customer service like this anymore. “Haven't had much of the food here but the pastries are standard good. Like most Paneras (I've been to tons across the country), it's always slightly dirty (tables aren't cleaned regularly and area gets dusty and messy with food scraps, napkins, etc.) since they don't seem to clean often. But the ambience is top notch if you want a busy cafe (I do for studying) with regulars. Usually a lot of high school students in the afternoon but also plenty of other folks from around the surrounding cities. Staff is generally accommodating and friendly. And the Shoppes in general are nice with plenty of things to eat and see outside (Barnes and Noble, etc). Outside of the lack of cleaner tables/floors/restrooms, this is one of my favorite Paneras to get work done or meet friends.

Parking: Parking is plentiful depending on hours. But afternoons/evenings can be rough.“
