“Location: Diamond Bar Blvd, inside a quiet strip mall plaza (plenty of parking). South of Temple Ave and North of the 60 freeway off of diamond bar blvd exit.

Seating: Around 8-9 tables, good for small groups or solo diners.

‍ Service: Only one staff member working when I went, but she was friendly and attentive.

Hotpot Style: a little different from the other solo pot restaurant. Each person gets their own pot. You choose your meats & ingredients, then cook them yourself--no overcooked food, no broth boiling over. I liked this style a lot.

Overall: Chill weekday vibe, quiet atmosphere ( not sure if its a slow time or the area is naturally quiet) , and a solid 3.5-4 experience. Great spot if you enjoy solo hotpot without the rush.“

The owner, “lady Aey” helped me with part of my order and she asked if I’d been to Thailand because I liked spicy and asked for the fish sauce- I think I was sounding very sure of what I wanted :) I told her that coincidentally, I was going to Thailand this summer. “My friend mentioned The Pozole Place and suggested we should visit and eat there. We went there this morning, April 28th. We were greeted by a very friendly Server. We ordered pork pozole. I had red and he had the green pozole. To be honest, it was the best and tastiest pozole i ever tasted and ate and i was and grew up next to E.L.A. many years ago. The owners were very friendly and so were the severs . It is a Very nice and clean restaurant . i will definitively be going back and i live 23 miles from The Pozole Place.“

“This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.

“I absolutely loved dining at this restaurant! The best part was that it was open until 10 PM, which was perfect since I was searching for Pho places nearby. The vegetable noodle soup was amazing, with good vegetables, and came with a delicious chicken broth. We also tried different types of spring rolls, and they were quite filling. They have good booth seating too, which makes it cozy. The service was great, and the food was comforting. A must-visit local spot for pho lovers in Southern California!“

“This location is a replica of the former restaurant Soup Plantation but with several new salad choices with a new tasty blend. This is their second location and I'm hoping they open more loations soon where I don't have to travel so far. The only bad part of the restaurant is the location of all their dishes. All at the front, so grab your bowls for your soup and small plates for the pizza- bread.“

“My husband and I live Chop Stop and we used to visit the one in La Verne when I lived in San Dimas or when I visited my mom who still lives there but it has since gone. Then we visited the one in Upland since that is where we live by that too is now gone so this one in Rancho Cucamonga is our go to spot now and we could not be happier. We usually order online or in the app and it is ready by the time we get there. We love that you can customize the salads. We have never had a bad experience.

Dietary restrictions: I am not supposed to have cheese due to high cholesterol so I tend to customize my salad and remove the cheese and add pepperoncinis.“

“Been on the prowl for a new spot for a good breakfast burrito in our new area. It's been more miss than hit with some places charging way too much. Decided to give Taqueria Poncitlan a try and OMG it was amazing and far better than our previous regular place.

I opted for the chorizo, beans, and egg burrito for $10.99 but added avocado, tomatoes, and cheese bringing it to around $14...and still cheaper than some of the $16+ price at other spots.

This thing was huge!! They gave me the green and red salsa which were both great. I would get it with pico de gallo next time instead of tomatoes. Flavor, texture, and freshness was exceptional. Plenty of seating with friendly staff with a casual setting and a TV. Finally found our go-to spot for breakfast burritos!! Woohoo!!“

“This Olive Garden is the best one my family and I have been to. It was very busy, yet we got our table after a few minutes. A very young group of staff that were very attentive. Our server was friendly and gave us a great service. Definitely recommend this location.“

“I just came back from a 3 week vacation in Italy and I was dubious about eating here. Let me tell you, this food was on par and often better than the food I had in Italy.

The potatoes in my soup were freshly cut, bread freshly baked, the tomatoes in my salad tasted fresh off the vine.

I was service quickly, and the staff even out of their way to customize a cheese plate for my daughter.

First time here with family.

The establishment is pretty much self-service based with a large open dining area with communal tables in the middle and two seat booths along the side walls.

Ordered their combo dumpling bowl with hot & sour soup, pork chop, house noodles, mala spicy beef noodles soup, and oolong milk tea with Bob and pudding.

Place order via kiosk. It was easy to navigate and see what the dish you're ordering looks like.“

“We had the Vegan Pho spring rolls and egg rolls, Strawberry Macha, coffee latte and passion fruit yogurt drinks. Honestly, we never had Pho and my dad is super picky. He loved the vegan pho soup. The noodles are light not heavy and the broth was extremely flavorful. Fresh veggies on the side to add to taste. The spring rolls are fresh but was not a fan of the peanut sauce. Eggrolls are small and thin but they had nice crunch. It is a little on the expensive since the portions are a little smaller but quality ingredients. Highly recommend the drinks. Overall will eat here again“

I've personally searched far and wide for places that serve clay pot chicken rice, and they definitely got the taste perfected to a tee. “Today, for lunch, we took my uncle to Kuma Sushi in Upland. His birthday is tomorrow and this is one of this favorite restaurants. I've been dining here for years and the place never seems to disappoint.

We all ordered bento boxes. I chose the ribeye and the Katsu chicken with a side of ponzu sauce. The food was delicious. Everyone was happy, especially my uncle who ordered tempura shrimp and sashimi. For some reason, I ordered fried rice today. After thinking about it, I never do that here. Next time, I think I will stick to the plain old white rice. I love the fried rice at teppanyaki restaurants. This was... okay.

“Haven't had much of the food here but the pastries are standard good. Like most Paneras (I've been to tons across the country), it's always slightly dirty (tables aren't cleaned regularly and area gets dusty and messy with food scraps, napkins, etc.) since they don't seem to clean often. But the ambience is top notch if you want a busy cafe (I do for studying) with regulars. Usually a lot of high school students in the afternoon but also plenty of other folks from around the surrounding cities. Staff is generally accommodating and friendly. And the Shoppes in general are nice with plenty of things to eat and see outside (Barnes and Noble, etc). Outside of the lack of cleaner tables/floors/restrooms, this is one of my favorite Paneras to get work done or meet friends.

Parking: Parking is plentiful depending on hours. But afternoons/evenings can be rough.“
