Arizona Chinese Restaurant Reviews
This is a tricky place to recommend. Some of the food is truly great like the fried rice and lo mein (beef) but the menu overall is not great. You cannot get an individual wonton soup or an egg roll on its own if you are by yourself. They also make some things awful like their egg foo young and personally I think the chow mein is not good. First off I wanted to try their egg rolls . I read the reviewer that wrote the egg rolls tasted like licorice. Which I am a licorice fan and I got tempted to try it out. I have to admit it was the greasiest egg roll I’ve had. It felt so oily. I don’t know what they fry them in. But it sure as was the oiliest damn thing that I’ve ever had. Going is always calm, timely and serviceable. I love coming to this restaurant, whether it be for takeout or for dine in. The fried noodles with the soup is always great, the pork and chicken is always consistent and good, the pineapple sauce is great, and the chun kuns are my favorite part of the Arizona experience. It's always been run by the same staff too—we've been coming here since I was a child and I'm now 26.
