Good birria, I tried the birria de res ( beef birria) and quesadilla. Hand made tortillas. Authentic birria Guadalajara style. They have pick hours, be prepared to wait.
Menudo rojo con pata and taco de carnitas mixto y dos cafes de olla GREAT FOOD! I wasn’t even expecting it to be as good as it was.

Food was awesome. Salsa verde was soooo good 😋. Some of best I've ever had. As a Black Mexican 🤭🤗 I took some home and Njoyed the extra. So was the young man who helped us (I didn't get his name) 😒 HOWEVER, our female server tho... either needed to pay closer attention to what we said/asked for OR let go of stereotype thinking. Just because our party was 2 Black woman & 1 Mexican woma... our server spoke primarily to our Mexican friend...As 1 of the Black women, I had to remind our server of my order of guacamole 1/2 thru our meal. She brought/charged me for the large vs my order of small. And when it came time to pay at the cash register, even tho SHE gave each of us (party of 3) separate checks,(as requested) she took ALL the money from my friend's $100 bill. Even tho she wasn't told or instructed to. Would go back. However, would NOT sit in her section. DO remember what she looks like...
Wow, from the welcoming friendly customer service to the delicious food. Our new favorite restaurant.
The menudo meat was hard we told the waiter and she just said that she was going to passed to the boss the carnitas plate was a very small portion for the price we had gone to the one on G treet and over there the menudo meat is tender and the carnitas plate is well served but the only bad thing is that they have a terrible service.

‼️Amazing Food Post Alert ‼️
Location : Chula Vista
We visited this restaurant for Sunday Lunch. This place serves amazing Birria, (a Mexican dish , basically a meat stew or soup traditionally made from goat meat. The meat is marinated in an adobo made of vinegar, dried chiles, garlic, and herbs and spices before being cooked in a broth). The hand made fresh tortillas are the perfect companion. To dip hand-made tortillas stuffed with the seared goat meat, onions and cilantro into the Birria was mouth-watering. Fresh cilantro, onion and lime brought to your table. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !! We also ordered the Modelo beer, ice, lime and refescos Mexicanos to complement the meals. Do yourself a favor and stop in. The service is perfect, it feels like they've known you forever and make sure you have everything you need.
‼️Summary : || Mexican home made amazing food and a little bit more || The happiness is contagious and the hype is real😊

Best birria ever
It's the service honestly. If you're not a regular you're ignored. I waited 20mins before I asked for a drink and for then to take mine order. After that I waited 15mins before I asked for my drink again. The girl with blonde hair was supposed to be my waitress I had to ask a male server to take my order. Then I am told 30 mins into waiting what I order they dont have.Honestly the Guadalajara on G St is the best service!!!!
Another note We overheard the kitchen say that the meundo that was given to my husband was not his it was for another table. He didnt eat half of it before we decided to leave. And they told the girl with blonde hair why she was pushing her tickets before the others. And it was messing up the orders. I canceled my order I didnt eat.
2nd note the manager did come up and apologized for the incident and gave us a discount. And to give the a 2nd chance. But honestly 1st impression wasn't at all the best.
