My dad and I come in on our last day in Chula Vista looking for a place that served menudo on a weekday. My dad is from Jalisco and we very skeptical of hominy in menudo, but it was delicious. My dad also got the birria de chivo and loved it. If we are ever back in Chula Vista, we would definitely return.

The service was good, very attentive. Walking in feels like your going into a taco shop. I came here to try tuétanos, I’m a big fan of them, BUT this is not the place for them, they weren’t good at all. The chicharrón taco was not good either.
I must say, I did like the Menudo, it was tasty. I won’t be coming back, but hopefully they can get better with the tuétanos.

Short staff on a Friday afternoon.
Got seated and asked to clean the table
While waiting . Our drinks took little longer than usual to serve us .
Food was delicious but we had to ask for our tortillas .
Waive the server for my creamer , he didn’t offer if I wanted creamer for my coffee..
but I will say the server was multitasking the entire diner .!! He tried .
Short staff gets customer in a moody mood.!!
