Los Nogales is in one word, authentic. Where store-bought ingredients fall short, they labor to make their own (check out the chorizo in their breakfast burritos). Such delicious beans and sauces! Riquisimos!
Very good food.
This place is awesome! Great street tacos, super burrito is amazing, enchiladas are amazing, chile relleno is awesome. Also the agua frescas are so refreshing and delicious!

The super burrito with no meat is the best no-meat burrito, and the potato tacos are loved. The owner is super nice. The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and everything tastes freshly prepared. The food reminds you of grandma with comforting smells, rich seasoning, and home made warmth. It is like being invited to a family dinner. They start cooking the meat early so it is tender, juicy, and savory, served with the freshest vegetables and most well prepared sauces. Los Nogales is the go-to destination for the best Mexican Food. The owners are super nice people, and the carne asada is the best in Citrus Heights. The desserts are tasty, different varieties, and very homemade. It feels very at home. Best place to eat.
