About Liu Roast Fish City of Industry

Liu Roast Fish City of Industry, located in a plaza with many Chinese restaurants, is known for its variety of dishes including skewers and their signature $50 baked fish. The restaurant offers plenty of seating and mainly caters to Mandarin Chinese speakers, with a karaoke machine available for entertainment. Customers can enjoy dishes like the delectable lamb skewers, won ton soup, and seaweed salad. The black pepper roast fish is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making it a must-try item. The restaurant has recently made a menu upgrade, enhancing the dining experience.

Customers have praised the food as always excellent, made to order, and seasoned perfectly. The service is good, with staff attentive to refilling water and tea. The atmosphere is family-friendly and quiet, ideal for enjoying a meal and conversation. While the Qing Jiang House Special Fish is a popular choice, some have noted that the fish served may be previously frozen, although it still tastes great. The restaurant is also open late, adding to its appeal. Overall, Liu Roast Fish provides a nice dining experience with tasty food and friendly servers, making it a great spot to enjoy Chinese style roast fish.

Best roast fish and skewers in California! I will always stop by even if I'm remotely in the area

I come here often for the fish

I really like 疙瘩汤 here. The BBQ is pretty good too. I do wish they had more seasonings on the side though, like cumin or chili flakes.

One small thing: one of the servers was kind of rough when putting down plates and bringing out food. The movements were really fast and the noise was pretty loud, which caught us off guard a bit.

Overall the food is solid, and I’d still come back. Just hoping the service can be a little more relaxed next time.
