Finally got to try Fennel Bistro during my lunch work hours and it was very satisfying. The meats were cooked deliciously and the flavors were spot on. The clay rice was crispy and well flavored. The meat to rice ratio was perfect for my preference. The place is simplistic and clean. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier. No issues at all with the service, our waitress was very kind to explain how to pick out and order the clay pot combos.

Mediocre food and even worse service. It's run by kids in their pajamas. We had to ask for bowls, used serving plates were never cleared, there was barely any service at all and it's incredibly expensive for what you get. Tried it and definitely won't come back.

Super authentic claypot rice. You can tell because it's slightly burnt at the bottom and super crispy. Eel claypot, preserved meat with beef, and house meatballs are all my favorites. Cucumber salad was also very refreshing and lots of garlic how I like. One of the best items to get is the Longan chicken ginger soup. They use black chicken which is super rare and healthy for you. I love this soup cause it reminds me of my childhood. Service was great and there is indoor and outdoor seating. Must visit if you like claypot rice

I've recently had the pleasure to visit fennel bistro and I believe I've found a hidden gem. I ordered the rib clay pot rice and their three flavor clay pot rice, spicy dumplings and spicy chicken. All four dishes were so good, the chicken and the dumplings were the right amount of spicy and sweet that will keep your mouth salivating. The clay pot rice were full of protein and it also comes with sauce and side order of soup. I'm most impressed with the amount of 鍋巴 available in the every claypot they make. I can tell the chef making those claypot rice are very experienced. I'm definitely coming back and will try the rest of the menu selection they have.
