I really enjoyed the clay pot rice dish they serve, very special and tasty. For $16.99, you get 1 clay pot rice and 1 soup, super good quality with good price! I highly recommend their appetizer, you can’t go wrong with any of these, you have to check it out!
Super authentic claypot rice. You can tell because it's slightly burnt at the bottom and super crispy. Eel claypot, preserved meat with beef, and house meatballs are all my favorites. Cucumber salad was also very refreshing and lots of garlic how I like. One of the best items to get is the Longan chicken ginger soup. They use black chicken which is super rare and healthy for you. Finally got to try Fennel Bistro during my lunch work hours and it was very satisfying. The meats were cooked deliciously and the flavors were spot on. The clay rice was crispy and well flavored. The meat to rice ratio was perfect for my preference. The place is simplistic and clean. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier.
