“The food was excellent, but the service was sub par, though no fault of the server. It appeared that they were under staffed. Our waitress had to work both the tables and the bar, so she did not come by to check on us for drink refills. I had to go to the bar for a soft drink refill. Management needs to properly staff the restaurant.“

“Cool dive bar. They play banda and other Hispanic music. First time here and everyone was so welcoming and the staff gave great customer service. They have only beer but have a variety. Cash only, but they do have a ATM in bar.. Like I said cool bar to enjoy a few beers. I'd come back..“

“Although the food isn't the best, it's a great place to hang out with friends and family. Draft beer is also available and a variety of appetizers, main dishes, and desserts are available. All the staff working there are friendly. It's also a good idea to stop by for dinner somewhere else and a quick beer. Sometimes, when I have dinner at a restaurant that doesn't serve alcohol, I stop by here and have a light beer.“

“Went to lunch with my dad, had a BBQ chicken and some potato wedges, both were delicious. The pizza was fantastic and came out quick. The beers were massive and that was a wonderful surprise. “One star less on atmosphere bc the music is so horrible. However, AB is my go to for sports games etc. they have happy hour food, which is a big difference from their un-named competition (Chili’s). Food is always good, TV’s are sports ready, and Happy Hour.“

For the main dishes we had the vongole, chicken Parmigiano, kids' spaghetti and meatballs and kids' chicken fettuccine Alfredo. For dessert we had the cheesecake. Everything was so delicious! “I rated this based on typical bar food. It’s better than most. Nachos are really good, hamburger also good. Fish and chips too. It’s not usually crowded. They have a pool table and darts. Tons of TVs but a nice assortment of sports. Last time we were there they had basketball but also golf and figure skating. And best of all, it’s not expensive compared to most places in the area.

Vegetarian options: Not a ton of options but there’s nachos, fish and chips (if you eat fish) and probably a few others.“

I would say they were short-staffed on waiters not the waiter's fault that the managers fault for not having another waiter on duty! The reply from management was lame. “This was a nice small town bar. They have beer and mixed drinks. It was quite comfortable and they were able to get a fold out table to accommodate my wheelchair. The atmosphere was relaxing. The bartender, Elicia, was great. All in all it was a good experience.

Wheelchair accessibility: It was a good place for my wheelchair. Plenty of room and a foldout table to put the wheelchair up to.“

“Been to many many a bar in my lifetime. Scratch's is definitely top 3 for me. Huge brew selection, fair prices, great food, very comfortable atmosphere and it seems to be a magnet for very attractive women. Love the dart league

Parking: There are good number of spots in front of the location and then there is a huge shared parking lot with home Depot and del Taco that isn't being used by the other businesses later in the night and is never full in the day anyway.“

I’m not only if she friendly and acknowledges any and every person who walks in she’s not like other bartenders I’ve seen other establishments who are on their phone more than they are working. She brings in a collective of different patrons all friendly Never once not felt safe when I am there It’s a shame the other Bartenders at this places sister establishment in Covina were as well Trained as Rosie. “Me and my guy went here to play pool we didn't know this bar is competitive with pool so you have to earn your spot to play on the one pool table however they do have multiple dart boards to entertain yourself while you're waiting plus the patrons there are super cool.

My advice to anyone wanting to come check it out is to avoid Friday and Saturday nights. That's when Debbie (downer) the bartender works. Unless you like dealing with an attitude and having to flag the bartender down for service. Hopefully, some day. they'll bring in a better bartender on Friday or Saturday night and make this place happening.“
