The Quarter Creole Cuisine has great food, service and atmosphere. Bayou Shrimp Dip was the standout for me, looking forward to trying the fried oyster dip next time.

OMG!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant. I'm so glad we came here Mother's Day weekend. We ordered a garlic salad, gumbo cup, the sauteed quarter catfish, the fried quarter catfish and for dessert beignets. The food was chef's kiss! The service was excellent, the cocktails were very flavorful and the ambiance was beautiful! We can't wait to go back and try more items off the menu and experience the live band that perform on Tuesday's.

charming and lush vibe inside. the frog legs were delicious and the duck pate was excellent. the entrees were way too salty for me so I couldn't enjoy the rest of my meal of shrimp and grits. the cocktails are delicious. maybe next time ill ask the kitchen for less salt.

Wow wow wow! This place sure was amazing. I had the gumbo and shrimp and grits and they were both fantastic! One thing to note is that there are not a lot of pork free options (of course with southern food what can you expect) but nonetheless the food was superb. I finished the night with the beignets and pecan ice cream which were also so so good. Great atmosphere as well with the live music.

This was simply one of the best dining experiences I've had in SoCal in recent memory.

A beautifully designed and decorated dining room, incredibly kind and delightful staff, and some of the most nuanced and thoughtfully seasoned dishes I've ever eaten. Battered and fried dishes were allowed to shine without being overwhelmed by the process, the fish and oysters were juicy, light and delicate, and the crab with browned butter sauce? A revelation.

From apps to entrees, it was abundantly clear, these good people care about every aspect of their food and your enjoyment of it, and we will gladly return.

Decided to finally check out Quarter Creole in Claremont since it had been on our to-do list for a while, especially for a special occasion. We made a reservation through the Resy app and noted our seating preference along with our anniversary—but unfortunately, none of that seemed to be acknowledged when we arrived.

The restaurant itself was extremely noisy, and the table we were given felt cramped and uncomfortable. It made it difficult to even have a conversation, let alone hear our server clearly.

For food, we ordered the popcorn shrimp as an appetizer, followed by the garlic salmon and smothered chicken for mains, and finished with beignets for dessert. While I understand it’s a Creole/seafood-focused spot, the salmon was overly salty to the point where it wasn’t enjoyable. The shrimp and chicken were just average at best, nothing memorable. As for the beignets—they didn’t live up to expectations at all. Honestly, I’d take Disneyland’s version over these.

Service was also a letdown. Our server didn’t check in on us after the food was delivered, which is something you’d expect—especially given the higher price point.

To add to that, the prices overall were quite high for the quality of food and experience, which made the visit even more disappointing.

Overall, between the noise, lack of attention to our reservation notes, mediocre food, underwhelming service, and high prices, this wasn’t the experience we were hoping for—especially on an anniversary.

Would we return? Probably not.

My spouse and I dined at The Quarter Creole Cuisine on Feb 13. We were looking for a special place to celebrate Valentines day but not on the actual day, and we've found it! This place is top notch from the vibe to the food to the waitstaff. We had a 10 out of 10 experience.

I was a bit nervous because seafood is not my favorite, but the food blew me away.

Daniel was our waiter and he was so great and friendly and his recommendations were spot on. I had the salmon and it was a 10. I still regretted my choice, because after tasting my spouse's catfish, it was an 11!
We started with the brussels sprouts and the crawfish biscuit. We loved the brussels sprouts. The buscuit was the only thing that didn't live up to the rest. It was good, but not our favorite. We ended with bread pudding and the croissant beignet's and the beignets were divine.

We loved the decor and vibe too. It was a really special. Night. Highly recommended.
