“The Mix Up food truck! I ordered the kabob plate of a ribeye kabob and a lamb kabob. Mmmm, the kabobs were delicious. Big, hunky cuts of tender, flavorful meat; all grilled to perfection. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities.

What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob.

I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad,hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. The hummus was packed with a garlicky punch.“

Stopped in and let the owner know that it was my first time there. I couldn't decide between the brisket sandwich or the pulled pork sandwich, so I decided to get both. “We just moved to Sacramento and have been testing all the taco trucks in the area, this is by far the best one we have found so far. The carnitas are crispy on the outside and juicy deliciousness on the inside! The tacos are bomb and the burritos are bomb. We come get tacos and burritos almost every Tuesday. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend for some of the best tacos you can eat.“
