“This is a food truck, outdoor experience from a mostly stationary trailer alongside the local market. It is mostly Mexican fare, they also show sandwiches and tortas on the menu. Food is good! Three generous plates of enchiladas, quesadillas, and crunchwraps to share was $50. I took mine to go to feed some friends at home.“

“The Mix Up food truck! I ordered the kabob plate of a ribeye kabob and a lamb kabob. Mmmm, the kabobs were delicious. Big, hunky cuts of tender, flavorful meat; all grilled to perfection. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities.
What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob.
I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. The hummus was packed with a garlicky punch.“

“I was in the mood for some really good menudo this Sunday morning but wanted to go somewhere my partner could also get something he’d be excited about and happy we landed here. I had the menudo and it was super yummy. My partner had the quesabirria and shrimp taco and ate it all up. We shared the flauta and it’s was SOOOOO GOOD. The potato flautas were the star of the show! We both grab agua frescas and they were bomb 💣. We enjoyed our food so much we grabbed cookies to go! Excited to be back here and try more of their stuff.“

“Supporting local businesses is important to me, especially in this economy. I was craving a breakfast burrito and happened to come across Rafa's. Despite being a rainy and windy day, they were open and happily took my order. Given that the food is prepared in a truck, I appreciate that they're still willing to be open despite the bad weather. The burrito was ready in minutes and was absolutely delicious. The lady who took my order was extremely pleasant and patient as she took my order and allowed me to make substitutions.
Hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I've had. I encourage everyone to support local businesses and give Rafa's a try. You won't be disappointed.“

“If you're in the area get food from here. Absolutely. You won't be disappointed. I'm vegetarian, I love the bean and rice burrito with their salsa. It's a food truck on the side of the river though, you really just order and take your food to go usually.“
“Had to try their lumpia at @Sacyard while they were there on Mother’s Day. Yum 🤤 As good as homemade! Can’t wait to try a rice plate next time!!“

“My family has been looking for a new bbq place since our favorite restaurant closed last November. Well tonight I found our new spot. Stopped in and let the owner know that it was my first time there. I couldn't decide between the brisket sandwich or the pulled pork sandwich, so I decided to get both. Brought the sandwiches home and my husband loved both types of meat. We will definitely be going back.“
“Great food. We ate at their permanent location in Richmond Grove area of Sacramento. Neat and tidy dining area. Food came out quick. Guacamole freshly made. Tortilla chips warm and crisp. Modelo beer w/lime icy cold. Street tacos (chicken, carnitas) were hot and delicious. Will definitely be back!“

“The food is amazing, flavorful and authentic and the owners are friendly and obviously proud of their fare. They come to the Strauss Festival in Elk Grove every year and they are the main reason I attend. It's not fast food but 1000% worth the wait, since it's carefully and freshly prepared.“

“Food is delicious! I ordered some birria tacos and they were bomb, I asked for some consomé on the side and it was only like $2 more. My husband ordered a birria ramen and he was fascinated! 100%
It’s a small food truck but we were able to eat inside of Krazy Antojitos (which is also amazing btw).
Service was great and also fast!“

“This is best seafood truck on earth, I prefer to eat their seafood over other restaurants and trucks. I try to go once or twice a week since it's right next to work. And I have had seafood that taste like it frozen but this truck has that fresh out the water taste !!“

“One of the top three burritos of my life, no question. Juicy, flavorful meat, perfect balance, and wrapped up in a warm, fluffy tortilla that holds everything together without falling apart. The price is right, the food is great, and you can’t ask for more from a spot like this. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a seriously good burrito.“

“The Gelati is sooooo fresh and flavorful! It is NOT syrupy whatsoever. The flavors really shine through! Personally, the coconut cream is to die for, but you gotta get you a combo of coconut cream, mango, and passion fruit. SO GOOD! Will be visiting again during the next sweet tooth 🩵“

“I was pleasantly surprised by the experience at the taco truck! The super burrito exceeded my expectations—packed with flavorful meat that had just the right amount of spice, especially when customized to my liking. The service was efficient and hassle-free, making ordering a breeze. While the price for the burrito is a bit higher at $13, I must say it was worth every penny. Pro tip: Bring cash to avoid the $1 debit fee. They even generously provided limes upon request, adding a refreshing touch to the meal. Although they do charge extra for salsa, the overall experience was delightful, and I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future. Highly recommended!“
