Jack in the Box in Clovis

“Not only does Jack In The Box have good food, but my rating goes much deeper. May of 2025 I lost my home due to financial difficulties. I had to do the right thing and give my landlord a 30 day notice because I knew I wasn't going to be able to pay my rent the following month. My family literally gave all our belongings away, some moved to different places just trying to find a place to go. Me? I wound up living alone in my van. I never ever expected to wind up homeless. I stayed in the area of this Jack In The Box. I drive for GrubHub and made just enough money to eat once a day, put a tiny bit of gas in my car to start me for the next day. It was summertime and I was so hot. All the places around charged for ice or water. I thought I was going to die. This Jack In The Box allowed me to get ice and water for free. I had a thermos and they told me to get ice and water anytime I needed it. You have no idea how much that meant to me. I ate there often, picked up orders there often, and when I was too hot outside I would come inside for a bit and sit at a table in the corner to just cool off and wait for more GrubHub orders. These people always smile at me and never treat me inhumane. They don't chase me off, or refuse me a cold glass of water. Not only is their food delicious, but they are just people who see others as people, and I absolutely love every single one of them. Though I do not know them personally, I feel like part of their family. I wish I could work there, but I don't know if they hire old ladies so I haven't dared try to apply. I ordered and left and did not realize I had forgotten half of my order and the worker Devyn went out of her way to run outside in order to catch me! she was so sweet when i asked for dressing multiple times and had a wonderful attitude, that is the type of worker that deserves good things going her way“
