I was in Riverside for business for the day. I live about 1.5 hours give or take. My wife and I have never tried some real good Jamaican food. So I wanted to bring back some good food. When I got home with the food she was eager to try. The food was 10/10. Extremely flavorful. I ordered brown stew chicken, rice and peas, and plantains. And second plate oxtails, rice and peas and plantains. I will be back. The restaurant was clean and good customer service
Aye the staff is nice as hell. I heard this place was bomb and it is. My Favourite is the portions. There’s enough to share and the quality is still TOP if you’re picking up last minute. Eating this food is like having a religious experience, it's soo good. I always get the jerk chicken plate with peas and rice and plantains with the sauce on the chicken (you can also get the sauce on the side). The peas and rice are always cooked perfectly with a subtle but delicious flavor. The chicken (on the bone) is tender, juicy, a generous portion and the jerk sauce is like a party in your mouth - super flavorful and good heat.
