“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!“

“Always have a great meal at Simmzy’s. I had cauliflower tacos and they were excellent (and I’m not a vegetarian). Sweet potato fries were great. I’m the past I’ve had the chicken tortilla soup- it’s one of the best! Pet and child friendly.“

“I saw a post on their insta page advertising a dessert and beer pairing for valentine's week; and the experience was just as incredible as advertised. Delicious beers from a wide variety of styles, all paired perfectly with a dessert flight of culinary bliss. The wife is the one with a sweet tooth; but even I was impressed. Hands down one of the best pairing events I've attended; even if I got the pairing to go.

“A quick sandwich before a sports event. Quantity of food was larger than I expected but a Chicken sandwich, fries, coke and the bill was $31. No real service as you order on your phone or at the bar. It was ok for a pre game meal but pricey.“

“Our food was exceptionally delicious! Wonderful flavors and delicious cucumber mint agua fresca too! Also fun, cozy atmosphere inside too. You can tell when you’re there it’s a very popular eatery, and for good reason! I’ve been there twice in as many weeks and I can’t wait to go again! 😁“

“Yummy 😋 first time ever, in the heart of 2nd Street and I can't believe I've never been here. I havent eaten beef in a decade, unsure but had a taste for it today. 🤩 We shared all the goodness, short rib pizzzzzzza, BBQ scrumptious and so juicy burger, along with the poke tostada, which was piled high with aoli and fresh tartar.
The staff sets this place apart, all are welcoming, inviting and make you feel like your neighbors, including recommendations that melt in your mouth. Had to get a piece of swag memorabilia ie; truckers hat.....so much gratitude. They always say it's not just the food, yet who was a part of the taste test that matters.......highly recommended, scrumptious and delicious 😋“

“very cool place to visit- highly recommended! Must try the Cuban sandwich! The staff who took care of us (?Marta, Margarette, unsure) very kind and proficient. She did great answering my questions about the menu, and since we had not been here before even took the time to tell us about specials that were coming up and invite us to visit again soon. “We were with a large party seated on the patio. The menu is available via QR code on the patio tables For our party, the servers/staff took all of our orders and moved the umbrellas around for maximum shade. The service was great! The staff was friendly and attentive. The nachos were a generous portion and the drinks were good. Thank you!“

“I really hope the area's residents (and everyone else too!) appreciates what a gem of restaurant this is & comes to support this place. The food is excellent quality & cooked well. The beverage options are unique, local, & refreshing. And the atmosphere is clean & very good vibes. And the owner/staff puts a lot of love into making it a great establishment. Found it on a whim while driving through the area, and we left very happy that stopped by to try it.“
