“I’ve only been here twice but I know I’ll definitely be back. The food is good and the portions are generous for the price. Also, I’m not sure where they get their kimchi or if they make it, but it is the best kimchi I’ve ever had! I would go back JUST for the kimchi, but everything else is great too.“

“I’ve watched them build this place for the past few months and finally saw an open sign. Being from Hawaii and having this so close to my house I had to give it a try, the restaurant is family owned and well maintained. They had it decorated for Christmas and the food is made fresh to order. I’m super grateful and will definitely be a regular here now, the location is convenient as there are multiple fast food restaurants around so having somewhere that I can get actual takeout food or dine in is so nice.Their musubis are the closest thing I have tasted to homes since I moved to Sacramento, I was going to take a picture of them but I took one bite and couldn’t help but eat both of them, and their drinks and portions are excellent as well. This place deserves to be busy, seriously give it a try. I hope they stay open for years to come! They do a good job keeping the place clean which is a welcome change as well compared to the other restaurants around here.“

“Very friendly staff. The lady was so nice and attentive! Food was tasy. Spicy level was definetly a good pick to have a strong kick while still tasting the flavors of the pot.
Chicken Katsu was also crsipy outside and soft inside. Good portions all around! Glad I brought ny friends here. Will come again.“

“I’m so happy to have L and L back! There used to be one on Crescent Drive(a couple blocks away) and I was heartbroken when it shut down. I moved away for a while and imagine how awesome of a surprise it was to see my favorite Hawaiian BBQ spot has returned just before I moved back! ???
The employees are all super friendly, the food is always cooked to perfection, and the dining area is kept clean and tidy.
The only thing that would make this place better is if they would extend their hours on Friday/Saturday nights. A lot of other restaurants in the area close at 9pm on weeknights and 10pm on weekends so I was surprised/bummed to see that they close “early” in comparison.“
