Anchor Bar

The Frolic Room is a Hollywood staple being one of the oldest bars in the city as well as a fun dive bar. The place is the size of a hallway but always a good time. The drinks are incredibly affordable - margaritas were only $8 and they serve them in the tall glasses! This is your perfect pregame spot before your Pantages show or just an awesome night out.

I have been to the Frolic Room about 10 or 12 times, always right before a show at the Pantages. Cute little neighborhood bar (older bar, but really cool). This was my first time visiting Anchor Bar and it definitely won't be my last! I placed a reservation through the staff, who was absolutely lovely! She answered all of my questions thoroughly and made the process a breeze. When we arrived we sat by the fish tank and listened to the live band as we enjoyed our very tasty meals! The sushi is phenomenal I definitely recommend it. The whole atmosphere of the place is great :), I can't wait to come back next time I'm around the area.
