Stopped by Poki Tomik while passing through La Verne for a meeting and had such a great experience. Ricky helped me build my poke bowl and was incredibly kind, and friendly. I had a specific sauce request and even when the bottle wasn’t working, she went above and beyond to make it right.

It’s refreshing to come across a place with staff who are truly customer service driven. Thank you for hiring people like Ricky she made my visit a great one. I don’t live in the area, but I’d definitely stop by again!“

“A hidden gem! The place is spacious and super clean! They have seating inside so you can dine in or take it to go! The food is delicious! It’s so well served and the owners are so kind and sweet! Again the portion sizes are worth it! Food is fresh and the quality is amazing! I recommend 10/10, if you’re in the area I would give it a chance! The plaza is also very spacious so parking is no problem! They also have a lot of snacks and drinks! We come mostly for the poke but the teas are equally as yummy!“

“Sushi was incredibly fresh. The rich, fatty flavor of the salmon belly filled my mouth with every bite. The nori had the perfect texture which was neither soggy nor too tough to chew and still carried a great flavor. Even the ginger tasted fresh. This is definitely going to be my go-to place from now on.“

“Stumbled upon this spot. Food is so fresh and delicious ! The staff is also sweet and helpful. I got the pick a poke bowl with the salmon (sautéed). There are many options to choose for your build. My favorite part was the sauces. I got 3: ohana, mayo lava, shoyu dynamite. Highly recommend!“

Got a 2 protein poke bowl with 2 scoops of salmon. I asked for half rice and half salad, but wow there's a LOT of rice. My brother didn't mind since he likes rice, but I was a bit peeved. (EDIT: Oh, also the poke bowl is drowned in sauce. My brother loves eel sauce so he was glad, but just letting other customers know!)

The staff behind the counter was nice and was patient with me while I was asking my brother for the toppings and sauces that he wanted in his poke bowl. Sorry I took so long, at least there was no one in the store!

“Quality ingredients and homemade sauces. We went for girls breakfast and loved it. My friends got a chicken sandwich and tacos and I got a veggie sandwich on squaw bread with cheese and avocado. Everything was so delicious and satisfying but not heavy. Only place in LA county that tastes like you are in the city. You gotta check out the bathroom! The owner is a genius. Very good portions at Mr. Poke. I got 3 scoops of salmon for my half brown rice, half salad poke bowl, with all toppings, and all sauces. It was actually a lot of food and I could only finish half. I didn't want to leave it for the next day, so my mom ate the other half. I guess since I got it via Doordash, I did not get the miso soup.

Along with the flavor, another one of my favorite things about this place is they are not skimpy. I usually get a large and can spread it out over two days because it is so filling. The fish scoops are packed and they hook it up with the toppings and sauces.“
