“The salads are always great and consistent. The worker blended my fish in my salad before I could tell him to lay it on top. I chalk it up to a new employee, and I am forgiving. I was a bit repelled however about people bringing their dogs into the restaurant and sitting down. I am a dog lover, but large dogs probably should not be in an open air eating facility where the food is exposed.“

“I own and operate a walking food tour company, so I know a thing or two about the restaurant scene, particularly in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, so hope that gives a little context to my review.

So, my review...This. Place Is. Great! I ordered the "God Save the Quinoa"...quinoa is my favorite grain...and it was perfect. It has all the things you'd want...Kalamata olives, onions, peppercini's and perfectly cooked grilled chicken. But the real star of any salad is the dressing...and this dressing did not disappoint. It's' a lemon vinaigrette, which sounds simple, but there was a little kick to it and something else that I couldn't identify, but I loved it.

John, the owner, has worked for some major superstar chefs and institutions, so he knows what he's doing. He's doing all the basics right while upleveling them in just the way that you'd want. Can't wait to go back and try a different salad or a sandwich.

This neighborhood needs more restaurants like Mad Rebel...healthy choices made from organic and quality ingredients that don't break your budget. If you're shopping at the Beverly Center or staying at a nearby hotel, this should definitely be on your list while in the area. Cheers!“

“I love this place. It's in the basement, but don't let that fool you, they make some of the best sandwiches I have ever had, and I have loved everything else I have tried so far. The staff is friendly, and you can order online or over the phone. I think they also have a mobile app but I have never used it.“

“I found this place when I was staying in West Hollywood for a staycation and I really enjoy their acai bowls. If you dine in, they serve in an actual bowl with a metal spoon. I like the sustainable option and moving away from plastic all the time. The staff are all super friendly and the food is reasonably priced considering the size of the bowls. They have plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors and it's right on the Santa Monica Blvd strip which is good for people watching. They also offer free wifi.“

“Wow so freaking good!! Genuinely the best bowl I’ve ever had. I got the mixed grilled chicken bowl with lemon thyme sauce while my boyfriend got the same but with the chipotle sauce. Both were great! Pretty cute they wrote a little thank you note on the take out box too:)

“A seriously delicious local burger spot that I wish I would’ve found sooner. Everything was high-quality and had great flavors. It reminded me a lot of Farmer Boys because the patties were large, the veggies were fresh and crisp and it had very similar flavors. Service was fast and friendly and the pricing is very fair. There is a free parking lot attached so it is a really quick and convenient lunch or dinner option. They don’t have outdoor seating but plenty of indoor tables but most people choose to take it to go, which is what we did.

For the first visit I chose the Buffalo Burger with avocado and cheese and thought it was fantastic. The buffalo patty was very lean but filled with flavor and the french fries on the side were a good call and I would not recommend missing them. We also ordered a Mahi Sandwich and the fish was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor. Overall, I was impressed with the meal and would definitely come back again soon.

There were some kids who were asking for way too much and she was so patient and still served up delicious food for everyone. She was so awesome and so patient and so kind I would not have been able to provide that kind of service.“

“We got delivery, when we saw the delivery bag we thought it was the smallest delivery one yet, especially since we got a green drink, extra side of chicken and the cashew pudding. (All are in small containers)
So yeah if you’re trying to lose weight and eat yummy this is the place for you! Chicken was juicy and savory. The sauces were good too. Must try their green smoothie it’s one of the best I had (just wished it wasn’t kids drink side)

“One of my go-to spots for acai bowls and smoothies. The Angry Trainer bowl is one of my favorite acai bowls - it has inchi protein powder which gives it a slightly nutty flavor, a generous amount of blueberries and bananas, sweet, homemade granola, and a drizzling of honey on top. I get the large size for a filling lunch. I really like the granola, and I think the acai is well-blended and smooth.The “avo here” avocado smoothie is creamy and quite filling. I’ve also had the “capo” chocolate which had little cacao crunchies in the smoothie. It also has protein powder so there’s a slight chalky aftertaste, but it’s still good. They do have food, as they work with Roni’s Diner (right next door). The roasted vegetable bowl is quite filling and very healthy - it comes with an Italian balsamic vinaigrette, but I like putting tapatio on it to give it some extra zing. The chicken tinga bowl is also super filling, and they give a pretty generous portion of the shredded chicken.It’s a small space, and it’s best to just grab it to-go. It’s also available on grub hub/seamless. Street parking is available, there’s no free WiFi, and they do take credit cards. Overall it’s a bit pricey, but I enjoy the quality and heft of the acai bowls.“

“I felt welcomed as soon as I entered. I created my plate. Steak over sushi rice with chimichurri sauce. My sides excited my taste buds. Parmesan brussel sprouts that actually had sliced dates inside, made it quite sweet. The butternut squash side actually had a little bit of pine nuts and tangerines within it. Interior inside is small BUT the food flavor is large! Clean restroom and metered street parking.

Parking: Two spots for to-go order pickup but one was used for their catering van.“
