Location: Culver City. This place serves Indian vegetarian food. Don’t miss the vegetable biriyani. Idli and dosa tasted great. Coconut Chutney tasted authentic South Indian. This place gets crowded during peak hours. You may need to add hours to find parking . Don’t miss!!“

“The staff was very friendly and provided good service. The food was delicious. My only complaint was that the ambient music started at a reasonable volume and progressively got louder and louder to the point where I nearly had to yell across the table. For the record, we were seated at 6 PM and finished at 7:30 PM“

“I have eaten at Flavor of India several times and did so very recently with a friend. This place has amazing food and service! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is excellent and I strongly recommend them. The atmosphere is great too!“

“Indian and Mexican fusion is an incredible innovation. We got two burritos, the appetizer sampler, roti, paratha, a mango lassi, and a tea and everything was so delicious. They even brought us out some soup and rice pudding without us even asking for it. The soup was really comforting on that rainy day and the rice pudding was the perfect light and sweet note to end the meal with. I’m so glad we stumbled onto this place on the last day of our trip. Perfect send off!“

My kids needed to use the bathroom, and unfortunately, we were told no. “This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant, and the Vizayawada biryani is absolutely delicious. You won't find another place in Los Angeles that serves biryani with such an authentic and flavorful taste. My suggestion would be to make the biryani spicier and add a bit more sauce for an even richer flavor.“

“I've been going to Gill's for years. Everything I've had here has been over the top good. The flavors are amazing. The tandoori chicken is perfectly seasoned and smoky. All the curry based dishes are incredibly tasty. The coconut chicken is spot on. The average dish is $12-$15...what a deal! The restaurant is way in the back of the very old Stillwell Hotel. I happened to walk in once when they were unloading their groceries. LOTS of boxes of fresh produce. Not a bunch of canned and frozen stuff. That explains a lot of why the food is so good here. If you like Indian food, this is the place to go...and such a bargain!“
