what's going on with the bartenders? Fridays used to be fun and busy during the afternoon when Shannon was working. it was dead last week. like 3 people. won't be going back anytime soon. sucks too. been going for 14 years.
Not bad. Food is fine, fun spot to watch sports.
AFC COYG
Called to view soccer game was misinformed that it was on. When I arrived the acting manager had an “o well attitude”. The guy behind the bar was very helpful & apologized. I elected to stay & order a tuna melt which was very good. Hope the “manager” is more diligent next time,
Use to be a cool spot until we woke up at 6am to wait at their door from 7 am to be turned away because SURPRISE they now only take reservations. Just another greedy bar that will go down with all the others.
Catch them when YOWZZA is playing there! An absolute great time!
Great place to watch a football (us and soccer) game. Friendly local crowd. Best chicken fingers in culver hands down!

It’s a shame. I love this place but this one very rude female bartender has ruined it for me and my friends many times. She never smiles and she even yelled at my friends one time. She doesn’t want to put on any games we suggest and our group of about 50 people had enough and are now looking for another place to go.

Great futbol bar esp EPL. Eugene et al are super hosts, excellent beer selection, pub grub. Always packed with supporters who are not shy in stating their team preferences. Just a great football bar place.

Very good local bar. Low key and relaxing. Nothing to complain or nothing to write home about.
Wanted to watch the Commanders play on a Thursday night and after Googling for Washington bars in the area found JD.
There were only two folks working - odd for a self-proclaimed Washington bar on a night they are playing TNF. They have plenty of positive reviews so I have to assume they were short-staffed and must have been an off night.
The other main hiccup was their inability to change the TV directly in front of us to the game because they "couldnt find the remote" - also a bit eyebrow raising for a sportsbar but again, they were short-staffed and by that time the bar was pretty packed so they couldn't spare the time.
= I would definitely give them another try for another game!
As far as food/drink - the draft list is good (not great) but the happy hour slider deal is a great deal + tasty, definitely get two of those!
