I came back to upgrade this review. The food is always good and is made fresh. If lunch is only 30 minutes, call ahead and order.

No cucumber on my gyro? Just pita and meat is how it felt to meet - too light on the veggies like tomatoes and disappointed in there not being any cucumbers- no olives either. Idk I wasn’t impressed for $16.50 gyro

Couldn't recommend this place more highly. I'm visiting my brother from out of town and we stumbled upon this place for lunch. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. Nothing glitzy about the restaurant; clearly their emphasis is on quality of food and caring well for their patrons. I got a gyro plate and absolutely loved it. It was a ton of food so if you don't have a big appetite it could be lunch the next day

I was literally just walking by and had a want for some light Greek food. This place was great. The food was quick, hot, delicious, reasonable and the quaint, sit by the road on a cool clear day was perfect. If you can find parking, walk in here. It is worth it.

Sam, the owner is amazing. All the food we have eaten here is top quality and tastes amazing. Mykonos has been a staple for my family since Covid. Highly recommend.
This is the best casual Mediterranean food that I’ve had in LA. Definitely would

Followed my craving for Mediterranean food here on a Saturday afternoon after finding them on Yelp (of course). The decor is cute and very clean. I ordered at the counter and took a seat. They have table ordering which I didn't realize. I went for the Combination Plate with two Falafel as a starter. Everything was prepared perfectly and well seasoned. The beef and chicken were so tender and I could tell they were marinated - everything was so flavorful and juicy. I'm not usually a fan of chicken breast, but there's was not dry, and so full of tasty goodness! The serving was huge so I took home half of my falafel and half of my combo plate for lunch the next day. But of course I had to try their baklava. Because you know, even though I was full, everyone has a dessert stomach, so I was not disappointed. It was so juicy and sweet and flaky and delicious. Probably some of the best baklava I've had in years. I returned recently for another visit and brought my mom who also loves Mediterranean food. This time I had the beef Shawarma salad, which was excellent. Mom was really happy with her food and I love the fact that it's so close to home and in the neighborhood. The only reason I did not give them five stars is that on both visits - the women in the kitchen, and behind the cash register, were excessively loud, talking to each other, talking on the phone. It was really distracting, and took away from the experience because the place is so tiny. The gentleman who served me on both visits was very kind and very sweet and I'm guessing he's the owner. I don't know about other guests but I can't imagine that if this happened to me on my only two visits that other guests are not experiencing the same. A simple conversation with the staff to remind them to keep their voices down when there are customers dining would likely fix the issue quickly. As much as I love a dine in experience - I'm likely to do just takeout next time because of it. But 5 stars for food quality. It's truly excellent.

the lamb and beef skewers are flavorful and the char is nice but the meat quality could be better. i would prefer is the vegetables were more tender. the service was quick though and i would return if in the area and hungry.

Large portion sizes. Affordable prices. Homey decor. Decadent baklava. What else can a girl ask for?!
