Simonette Restaurant Reviews
I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines...read full review

Simonette Restaurant is a French bistro with a cool vibe located in downtown QRO. The restaurant features a gorgeous interior with art deco details and a lively atmosphere. The staff is friendly and supportive, although language can be a slight issue. The moules fritte and burgers, including the Parisienne burger and Americaine burger, are excellent, with juicy patties and flavorful sauces. The fries are phenomenal and come in generous portions. The French onion soup arrives piping hot with a beautiful pastry crust that's big enough to share. The cocktails, particularly the espresso martini and Freezer martini, are imaginative and well-balanced.
Simonette's enclosed patio is a delightful venue for gatherings, making it great for special occasions like birthday lunches. While there are limited vegetarian options, the vegetarian squash risotto remains cheesy and flavorful. Guests can also enjoy a Caesar salad with chicken, which features a delicious mix of greens and perfectly dressed chicken. The overall food quality is good, though some dishes may taste a little bland. Don't miss their creme brûlée, which is known for being creamy and dreamy. The restaurant offers lovely indoor and outdoor seating, though it can get loud in the evenings. Parking is available through a valet service or nearby street parking, and reservations are recommended, especially for larger groups or during busy times. Despite occasional slow service when the restaurant is busy, the food and drinks, from brunch to dinner, are top-notch, making Simonette a great spot to return to with friends and family.
