Ayyooo! 🔥
This place seriously nailed it!
🍗 Chicken Biryani – full spice, full flavour, full paisa vasool!
🌱 Veg Biryani – surprise hit! Not boring at all, actually super tasty.
🍗 Chicken 65 – crispy, juicy, and masala-loaded… just like Amma makes on Sundays! 😍
Full meals, full happy! ❤️
If you’re a true Biryani lover, don’t miss this spot!
Amazing buffet!!
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. We were here based on a recommendation from a friend, but was disappointed. We were a group of 7 and I guess they lost all of us with this experience. We ordered chicken majestic and it was just filled with oil and some random old chicken. And chicken lollipop was just some fried skin and the meat was not even cooked properly inside. Coming to veg noodles, it was just some noodles and cabbage and green chillies. We request them for some veggies while ordering but they didn't even deliver it. Coming to biryani it is not biryani it is some old morning rice and meat with kajus for decoration. The chicken fried rice and noodles were good. But on the whole it was a big DISAPPOINTMENT. we told the management about our experience and they did refunded us. But overall I wouldn't recommend the place. The staff were not friendly and attentive. They were just busy in their world. I hope they take is as a positive feedback and get better. I donot have photos to post. Else would post them all.
We ordered a pakora starter, Manchurian, u-biryani, a side dish, and a mango lassi. We specifically requested the starter and lassi to be served first, followed by the biryani and Manchurian as the main course.
The pakora was flavorful but was served without the mint chutney. After asking for the chutney, we were told it was on its way. We also requested ketchup, which arrived quickly in the form of a few packets. However, the chutney took far too long — after three reminders and a lengthy wait, it finally arrived when we were already halfway through the pakora. This was frustrating, as the starter was getting cold, and the delay diminished the overall experience. Why not just serve the chutney with the pakora in the first place?
Next, the Manchurian arrived despite our clear request to serve it alongside the biryani. When we reminded the staff, they took the Manchurian away and brought both dishes together after another wait. The taste was acceptable, but the biryani was inconsistent - dry and under-seasoned on top, yet overly soggy at the bottom with a watered-down masala. Also, the biryani was completely devoid of any vegetables, and the paneer was tough which was unexpected in a bad way.
And the lassi? We had to remind them to bring it, and even then, it was completely forgotten with no acknowledgment or apology.
Would I go back? The food was okay, but the service was lackadaisical, and the ambiance didn’t make up for it. If I do return, I will be as explicit as possible about how I want my food served — down to requesting that each dish comes with its accompaniments at the same time and essentially supervising my own service. Or it might just be easier to order takeout.
On a positive note, portion sizes were generous, and we did receive complimentary chai and sliced cucumbers/carrots. The host managed a smile, though it seemed like an effort.
Food and service are great. The chef (Tirumala Rao) is friendly and kind to check on guests and makes sure everybody is having a good time.
Great place for buffet with lots of options for Veg and non veg.
Both biriyanis we tried- chicken dum biriyani and goat ghee roasted biriyani were excellent. The tilapia fry starters were super tasty. All reasonably priced.

Large variety of South Indian cuisine lunch buffet. Has dosa, tea, beer and mango lassi. No naan for buffet. You don’t have to travel to Santa Clara for lunch buffet if you work in Cupertino.
The goat curry with bone in meat is the star of the show and also the biryani as long as you catch it fresh.

This place was a huge disappointment.. we ordered the Avachi special chicken biryani, ghee roast chicken, kadhai paneer, ulavacharu paneer biryani and naan.. they took forever to serve our food. They gave us the ghee roast chicken first and nothing else and we had to ask them multiple times (after waiting for 30 min) where our food was and the servers would just come and tell us that we had to wait 5 more min and they never showed up again.. the ghee roast chicken was completely cold when the rest of the food came so we asked the waiter to warm it up again and he took it to the kitchen and never returned with it again while he started serving other tables so we had to ask them again to bring it back after waiting for another 10 min…
The food was not worth the wait at all.. the kadhai paneer had a small portion size for the price.. there was nothing special about the biryanis either.. in fact they weren’t even biryanis.. they were just chicken and ulavacharu curries assembled with colorful basmati rice.. we had asked the waiter to make our food spicy and there was no spice at all.. and the ulavacharu was extra tangy and I like tangy food but it was inappropriately tangy..

Avachi is, without a doubt, the best buffet in the bay area, especially in Cupertino and surrounding areas. I've tried most of the buffets nearby, and while they're good, the value, quality, quantity, and friendly customer service of Avachi stand alone. The weekday buffet is a steal at $15.99, especially when there's easily 20+ items. And they include naan, dosa, mango lassi, and Corona or Modelo beer included in the price! Crazy good value!!! I come here weekly if not a few times a week. The food here tastes homemade. The meats all actually taste different, and they don't shy away from spice, so beware. It's true authentic South Indian cuisine, all available in a buffet. Do yourself a favor and go to Avachi asap, and say hi to me if you see me there ?

A restaurant in town offering 7 day lunch buffet. The menu is mouthwatering and more than 28 items served daily with beers.
Vegetarian options: South Indian style dal, sambas, radar, etc. everything is in the menu from snacks, savory, tiffins to main course and deserts.
Parking: The place gets busy during lunch hours and it’s somewhat difficult fining the parking within the lot.
Kid-friendliness: Good atmosphere for kids?
Wheelchair accessibility: Designated wheel chair parking and accessibility.

Wow so delicious! We got three curries, a biryani, and the bread basket. It was so much food for four people! The curries were all so delicious, got butter chicken, a vegetable korma, and a gongora goat curry, plus a chicken dum biryani. The bread basket is generous. Our waiter was friendly! Def recommend!
