This review is for the mini puffs, 6 for $7 with a few creams to choose from: vanilla matcha chocolate and Oreo mint. We ordered the small ones with vanilla and matcha cream, both flavors were delicious and not too sweet
I loved the cream puffs at Beard Papa's in Tokyo when I visited recently, so I knew I had to try them here in Cupertino! We stopped in on a Friday night and got a strawberry shortcake shell with vanilla cream filling; there was a bit of a wait but it wasn't too bad. The cream puff was good overall and I enjoyed the strawberry shortcake topping on the shell, though it did seem like the shell had been sitting out for a while. Order: Half a dozen Each would have been $4.10 All shells are sort of crumbly and I don't like making a mess so I think I'll pass on shells next time. I only tried the green tea and vanilla fillings for the most part and I think they're about the same. They're not too sweet and have a nice texture. The green tea taste is super subtle.
