Food was good chef was new not very experienced and prices in menu was different than what we received in the bill
Our Colossal Shrimp and Chateaubriand were cooked to perfection. Honestly, the Colossal Shrimp tastes like Lobster! Service is always the best here in Cupertino. Our server, Diego, was always on top of refills for our drinks and water. Fun time celebrating birthdays at our table. We are never disappointed with Benihana :)
Excellent food, the chef that cook for us was great. Very skillful and funny. Overall great night out
Not coming back We wait too long to get sitting ( we had a reservation) And we wait to long to get the food And then they tell us to move to the bar to finish Drinks because was a lot people waiting ☹️☹️☹️
Great place to host a birthday party. We had nine teenage girls at their own table. They had a blast. Food was terrific and services were great. We were seated exactly at the time of our reservation and they catered to our birthday girl. Rosemary, Victor and Becky made the experience exceptional.
The service level has gone down hill at this location. Starting from the host, the server, and chef. We walked in and the music was so loud it was very annoying, had to ask manager to turn down the music. Service was like being at Chili's, no service. Food is still good, but too expensive for what you pay for.
Our chef had been preparing food for 20 years and his performance was different than any other I've seen; he was on point and the food was well seasoned!
Made reservations for 7:15pm and waited 45 mins to be seated. They said that open table time slots weren't aligning with their schedule, therefore people weren't able to be seated on time.
Came here to celebrate my partner's birthday. An air vent cover fell right on the chair that my sister in law was sitting in while holding her baby. Thankfully she had scooted her chair forward a couple feet prior or else this vent cover would have fell right on her head. We were so struck about this we couldnt even finish dinner. The manager came over to apologize but it wasnt very genuine. Our server later came and apologized and said he told the manager to get us a discount on dinner. Disappointing that this didnt come from the manager himself. Once we received our bill we realized we got a 25% discount. We were regulars before this incident but the way that was handled so poorly ruined it for us. This vent cover was so heavy and even chipped the wood from the fall. Thankfully it didnt hurt my baby nephew.
you can't go wrong here. all of the locations I've been to are amazing. don't do the bar/lounge, do the tappen seating... 5 stars every time. food is incredible.

We've been going to this Benihana for my birthday for the past 25 years. The ventilation over our table was so poor that our eyes burned the whole time our chef prepared the food. The steak was served with lots of fat on it. Bathrooms were really dirty. Very disappointing experience.
We had such a great experience at Benihana thanks to our amazing waitress "Millaray" She was incredibly attentive, energetic, and had such fun personality. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. It was my son's birthday, and she went above and beyond to make him feel special-he absolutely loved it! She kept the energy up, made us laugh, and truly added to the whole experience. Next time we visit, I'll definitely be requesting her again!
Benihana is a fun place to eat! Love the show, and the food is excellent- very fresh ingredients! It's a bit on the expensive side, but they have Happy Hour and a new Power Lunch that offer lower pricing and same level of good food.
Went for my birthday dinner last night (2 people). We had a reservation and were told by our server they were short on chefs. It had already been about 30 min when we were told it'd be another 45 at minimum for our table to receive a chef. There was zero communication beforehand (phone call or at check in) to let us know. We left, and I had no birthday dinner.
We came on time to the restaurant we have reservation at 7:15 the guy on the front say we need to wait 30to 45 minutes because he say there behind on the reservations also he offers to waiting outside or inside was a lot people a lot noisy after the consuming time I went to ask again and the guy say 15 more minutes so honestly I get very disappointed also they sitting on the table we wait for the drinks 20 minutes and for the chef like another 1/2 hr to be making the food the point here is we have dinner almost 9:20 at night the smell is bad They have a very poor air suction system.. In the end, no matter how well-groomed you are or how expensive the perfume is, you end up smelling like a McDonald's kitchen. Honestly I don't recommend this place on this location san francisco and concord there way better
