Food is great, service is awesome and at reasonable price
I love Holders, and I have been going there since I moved to the San Jose area in August 2018. Their food is great, the employees are very friendly, they always ask me how I am doing, they always make sure I am satisfied with my food and drink, and the atmosphere is wonderful. They have a wonderful meatloaf special, fantastic soups, great specials, great breakfast food, and their adult beverages are great! You will not leave hungry, or unhappy. 😊

Holder's Country Inn in Cupertino is a nice spot for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. The food is great, with many highlights including a wonderful Mango Margarita, a great late night Steak and Eggs, and a Salmon Salad with lots of fresh fruit where the salmon was cooked perfectly. The Southwestern omelette is big, loaded, and tasty, and the pancakes are fantastically delicious—one reviewer noted that "a pancake" actually means two giant flapjacks the size of dinner plates. The prime rib special on Fridays is not to be missed. Service is friendly and on point, with food coming out fast. The atmosphere is pleasant, with one wall having plants entirely covering it for an interesting ambience. However, the dining room can get a bit cold inside, so bringing a light jacket is a good idea. The bathrooms are clean, warm, and actually kind of nice. While the place can be understaffed and the staffers overworked, the food's great and the open eating area pleasant. Overall, it is a solid breakfast stop and a great place to visit.
