Superb value! The sashimi is excellent quality and you get a lot in addition to the bento of other little items (plus more sushi), making for a well rounded meal. Same for the ramen. Decor of preserved 80s and 90s photos from Japanese TV and pop culture cover the walls and tables.
As of this writing they're remodeling much of the building, so it's a small shop of Japanese snacks with a sushi counter that carries a deli vibe. Really pleasant experience, I wish I lived closer!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Kikusushi, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Don't hesitate to get it by its outside; it's an old building, but the ambiance was lovely. Although it is more like a sushi food court other than restaurant, the fish is very fresh with a reasonable price, taste better than many other sushi restaurants I have tried, my husband and I both like packing several pokes and dons every time we visit.
