Do not come to this terrible pho restaurant. Soup is just a full of MSG and way over priced. Waiter is so mean and rude and charges 18% tip automatically without customers decision. Then if you'll ever complaint about service or too much tips, they will tell you to stop coming to the restaurant. They do not provide any service but they charge you a lot more automatically.

The pho is slightly above average, but the service is above and beyond expectations and better than any other pho places we've experienced. Their red spicy sauce is different from sriracha sauce but very good, but if you want the regular Sriracha sauce, you can ask for the sauce packets. Note that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity, and it's correctly based on the pretax amount, so it's actually less than the 20% I usually give. The fried chicken pieces are a bit scrawny with too much fish sauce and the dessert drink beans were whole and not that sweet. But again, the service was excellent and very impressive.

recently dined here, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite arriving with anticipation, I found the customer service severely lacking. Upon trying to place my order, I was consistently ignored by the waitstaff, leaving me frustrated and feeling undervalued as a customer. Even when seeking suggestions, the responses were dismissive and lacked any genuine effort or explanation. The food itself was passable, it certainly did not compensate for the disappointing service. It's disheartening to realize that the quality of service does not match the standard one would expect, especially considering the mandatory 18% tip policy, which seems unjustified given the overall experience. While the food may be average, the lackluster service and mandatory tipping policy detract from any potential enjoyment. Regrettably, I cannot envision returning to this place in the future, as significant improvements are evidently needed in both service and customer satisfaction

18% service charged in a pho restaurant. Am I in a fine dining :)). Food is ok. Service only deserve 2% tips. You need to ask for your chopstick from them even the food has already in table. THAT'S how 18% tips for their service. Ridiculous. Your server know they will get 18% service fee so they do not have to offer you a good service.

Excellent Vietnamese noodle house. We got the Bun Bo Hue weekday special. Our soups were tasty and flavorful. Soups were not as spicy as other places that serve Bun Bo Hue. Extra hot sauce were provided for those who want more spice. Portions were generous. ***Please noted that this Bun Bo Hue is a bit different from the traditional Bun Bo Hue.Parking: Parking lot is not big so it might be pack during lunch hours. There are other parking available close by.

Really bad, we are still suffering from the food we ate there 4-5 hours ago. It was brisket pho and chicken pho. Both smelled heavy and chicken was also undercooked.

I am a huge fan of the crispy chicken with rice. This place makes it well and more importantly, is pretty consistent. You have a choice of 3 types of rice: tomato, sticky rice, or crispy sticky rice. The crispy sticky rice is one of the best I've had. Since the crispy sticky rice comes in one piece, I really appreciate how this one here is thick enough so it's easy to cut with a knife and you get that mochi-like chewy interior. Some other ones I've had elsewhere were just burnt and hard to chew since they were thinner.Even though I usually get beef, they do make the chicken pho better. The appetizers are all tasty, albeit a bit pricey. Love the pork rolls and the dipping sauce, even though they changed it a bit for the worse.I recently got their 15% off pho+drink combo. I chose the ube coffee which was delicious. The ube part was like a smoothie, so it didn't taste powdery at all. The other two options for this deal was salted cream coffee and egg coffee. My sister was egging me on to get the egg coffee which she told me was all the rage and the worker recommended the salted cream, but no regrets! The workers are so wonderful and friendly. They got us extra bowls, sauces, takeout containers speedily and also constantly cleared out plates that were done. They also refilled my water 5 times because, MSG.The place is large and spacious, as it used to be an Armadillo Willy's. The booths are really comfortable and a lot newer than the OG Viet town location. Btw, both stores are closed on Wednesdays which is horrible when you need some midweek pho.The parking lot is really small and one-way.

Never visit again. Wrong order and concerned hygiene. No service apart from taking order and delivery the wrong dish. 18% mandatory tips after tax.

We came here on Jan 1 evening for dinner. There was a slight wait of 15-30 min as it was a bit busy. The severs were very friendly and prompt in checking on us and refilling the water. The food also came out relatively quickly. The ambiance was lively and a bit busy.I ordered C4. Chicken Breast Pho (Pho Ga Thit Trang) and it was delicious! The flavoring was light and the dish was warm - perfect for a cold day! I ordered it with the regular noodles (as I heard that the fresh noodles were good but tended to break easily). The noodles were soft and chewy and a good combination with the broth. The chicken was also soft and delicious. It also came with basil, bean sprouts and sauce (hoisin and sriracha) on the side, which were a combination with the pho.Overall, I had a great experience here and will be back in the future to try more items from the menu!

Came here again as a party of 5 and honestly I've been here on a handful of different occasions, since my previous review, for pho but I don't think I would come here unless I was in a real pinch and wanted convenience since it's nearby. The pho I got today was full of noodles and meat so the price for one bowl isn't bad but the broth was saltier than it usually is and it made the meal less appetizing. Furthermore, they automatically charge you 18% gratuity now whether you come as a large party or not. On the receipt, it literally states that if you're a party of 1 or more then the charge is automatically applied. Honestly, I understand that tipping is a big thing and something food service workers deserve especially if they've get offered quality service. However, I think that 18% is a bit overboard and I can't imagine if you had to pay this if the service wasn't good depending on who your waiter is. That said, if you don't mind the tipping and you enjoy the place then I don't see why you wouldn't come here. Personally though I don't see myself being a regular customer.

My friend recommended this spot and I shouldn't have let her pick considering she just recently started eating Vietnamese food but we needed some good recovery pho to cure my partner.I was visiting for the holidays but I've had much better pho in San Jose and surrounding area. The parking situation was easy, we were greeted quickly and the server gave us the bill to hurry us out since the restaurant was getting packed. It was a Saturday evening and I've never seen a pho restaurant this busy and loud so clearly people love this spot! When they cleared the tables, I had a sensory overload attack from all the dishes slamming into the bins that I wanted to leave. It was way too loud and I could barely hear anything. My friend seemed to enjoy her portion of pho so much that she took her left overs home but contrary to everyone's raving reviews : I am not stretching the truth when I say, this is the worst place I've experienced as far as pho broth goes. The noodles were fresh but the broth was hard to enjoy. I had a few spoons and left my bowl 95% full. Very salty and lacking smack, my mom would not approve.Overall :Service, parking and seating was great. Ambience was anxiety inducing. Pho had me feeling guilty for wasting food.
