I’m really disappointed with my recent experience. I arrived at this location around 6:45 PM — a full two hours before closing — and asked to order mini pancakes. The older man working the register told me they were already washing the mini pancake pan and refused to take my order.
I asked him what time they closed, and he confirmed it was still two hours away, yet he still wouldn’t make the pancakes. That’s incredibly frustrating, especially since I live just five minutes away.
Instead of walking over and supporting this place, I’d rather go to La Michoacana where they actually value their customers. Washing a pan shouldn’t be more important than providing service during business hours. Really disappointing customer service!

Went to get Elote but there was a tape over it on the menu.. Their ice cream is Thrifty brand..same kind you get from Rite Aid.. and they were too melted! Nothing special here and I don't think I would go back ever.

So happy to have found Ponchos Antojitos! It's super close to us, so we don't have to go far out of our way for great ice cream anymore. We tried the Cookie Monster and Cotton Candy flavors—both were well-chilled and bursting with flavor. My 3-year-old daughter especially loved the Cotton Candy. The plaza is a bit hidden, but that’s a plus since it's not usually busy, so there's no long wait. We actually discovered this place while searching for ice cream spots after the other two places we tried had long lines, and my daughter wanted her treat quickly. This is definitely our new go-to!
