My friend and I decided to grab some Puerto Rican food today! I wanted to treat her because she just started her new position as an Internal Medicine doctor, officially done with residency! We enjoyed everything and we’ll definitely be back. My meat was tender, the rice was delicious, but she did mention her meat was a little on the dry side.

All the dishes are flavorful and delicious, especially the pernil with arroz con gandules. The Thursday special, carne guisada, is amazing, and the combination with pastel de masa o yuca creates a tropical fruit and fried banana pepper taste that is simply amazing.
