Said mikes way no juice, they still put juice on it and I think she was mad. Second sandwich I got let known I’m supposed to say avocado before mayo lol. Then I got charged 32$ for 2 sandwiches and one bag of chips. Weird cause our local mikes is never over 25 for similar orders. Don’t really care, just giving my recent experience. Have fun out there

Let me first off start by saying I am not one to write reviews on a place I have visited but my experience at this jersey mikes in Dana point was one of the worst experiences I have had at a jersey mikes location not to mention one of the worst experiences of any food establishment I have patronized. From the minute I walked in the employees made it seem like they were being inconvenienced by having to take my order and seem extra irritated when I ordered a hot sandwich which by the way was absolutely terrible. If that weren’t enough after I paid one of the employees asked if they had rung me up already which he saw me pay for my sandwich moments before but felt the need to ask anyway as if he was insinuating I had not paid for my food. Hands down worst jersey mikes hopefully the owner trains his or her employees on how to provide customer service and how to make a decent sandwich that every other jersey mikes I’ve been to has managed to accomplish except for this one. What a joke zero stars

This location specifically is unmatched and it’s because they have a secret weapon; Luke. I drove all the way from Las Vegas because I heard about Luke’s sandwich making artwork and boy did he not disappoint.

First off, we were greeted promptly by a lovely staff. We then were offered to try our subs TOASTED (which if you haven’t had yet, you’re wrong). Then, we got to the magic station where our hero of the story works. I don’t know why they call it mikes way still because it should be call Luke’s way. Homie slopped it up so good I am still drooling hours after eating it.

Do yourself a favor and go see Luke and ask for it “Luke’s way”

Honestly, one of the worst experiences I have had picking up food. We double checked the time, it was 7:36 pm when we walked in the store last night, saw closing was 8pm and thought it would be ok to grab a couple sandwiches real quick. We started to order from one employee while the other employee started to clean up. No problem I thought until he began throwing, no joke throwing the tables and chairs against the floor as he swept. It was loud enough we couldn’t hear what was being asked of us. I even asked “is he angry???!” She laughed nervously and threw our food together. This went on the whole 5 minutes we were there. He even opened the door to the outside and began throwing the tables and chairs into the store. Metal was banging against the tile floor like it was a metal working shop. I actively had to block my ears and my husband let me leave while he grabbed our food. It’s no one’s responsibility for my ptsd, but actively throwing things feels extremely aggressive. We felt threatened enough to not return. This was the store right in front of the Best Western in Dana Point as well, I thought they would welcome tourists. I was very very wrong.
The food was also very poorly made and seemed off - we didn’t finish.
We travel for work non stop between AZ, NV and all over CA this made such an impact on me we will not be returning (I know it a big deal one couple not coming back.)

The female manager working today named Kristi needs to be fired. I can’t believe the owner of this location would promote her to manager. Her customer service skills are terrible. I came in today, literally minutes before the official opening. The door was unlocked and she gave me A disgusted look and immediately stated we are not open yet. Instead of a friendly greeting and politely explaining she would not work an extra minute. she was rude and miserable, which explains why it her age she works in that fast food industry. I own several businesses and she would immediately be terminated if this was under my ownership.
