I came here with my boyfriend just yesterday, and I’m so happy that we went. The service was just amazing, the lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious with just the perfect serving size, and my boyfriend loved the crab farfalle. Not to mention, our waiter gave us a COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE dessert, which wasn’t my favorite (I prefer chocolate/vanilla flavors over tart/fruity) but my boyfriend and my dad loved it. Definitely coming back!! Would recommend this place a million times over.

Went to have an early dinner on a Sunday night. They only had one waiter and one bar tender. Waiter was sitting people, taking orders and delivering drinks. There were several tables taken and Big groups of six . Food was very good but they sure need more help for a weekend night.

We’ve been reserving restaurants in the East Bay area for over 5 years, and this was one of the better experiences we’ve had! Antonio (and his assistant—sorry I didn’t catch his name) provided exceptional service throughout the evening. We had a party of 16 and ordered off the menu—drinks, appetizers, main courses, and desserts—including the bar. Everything was handled flawlessly.

They provided a private room, which made the event feel special and comfortable. Making the reservation was effortless, and Monique, the event coordinator, was fantastic to work with—professional, responsive, and accommodating. Highly recommend this place for group dinners or special events!

We’ll definitely be coming back.

Always a treat to dine at InContro. Gabe and Bernadette (Owners) always take good care of me and everyone in my party. I have known them since they opened years ago.

I went with my family to this Resturant last Friday, Big mistake.
Their meatballs and spaghetti were terrible. The meat was consistent of bologna cold cuts texture. . And the sauce was and spaghetti was sour. I couldn’t eat it. My Wife had ravioli that she spit it the first bite, she said is it is not eatable. We had Cesar salad 1/2 cup on small dish charged us $16 with tax and tip $20. Did not worth it , the lattice were welted and spoiled. The waiter took 45 min to bring our salad, and water. 1.25 hours to bring our main dish. He was flirting with guests on another table. Terrible food, terrible service and overpriced food
Please if value your time and health don’t go to this Resturant.

We love the ambiance and the service. Some dishes are amazing but my beet salad and salmon were just okay.

The restaurant had plenty of patrons, but was not loud at all. The dinner was excellent, and the staff treated us beautifully!

We went for a birthday dinner and sampled several dishes. While the cauliflower appetizer was delicious, I didn’t enjoy a few of the other items as much—the flavors were just average. However, the restaurant has a great location, and both the food quality and presentation were impressive, making it a pleasant overall dining experience.

Owner's Bernadette and Gabe are always welcoming and attentive. I recently celebrated my birthday with a large party and Bernadette set us up in a lovely quiet space where we could enjoy each other‘s company and the delicious wine and food they serve. Our server, Antonio was wonderful and always makes sure our experience is top-notch. We brought some cousins, who were visiting from out of town there last night, and had another fabulous experience all the way around. Incontro Ristorante has become one of our favorite places in Danville to gather with friends and family. Thank you, Bernadette, Gabe, and staff!

We wanted a quick bite after a late soccer match. Had some delicious pasta; quick service with attention to details.

BE VERY CAREFUL OF OUTDOOR DINING AT THIS RESTAURANT. The problem started when they delivered our food. Our table was attacked by bees. Literally, dozens of bees kept buzzing our heads, plates and food which kept us from eating our food. We spent all of our time swatting away the bees. No one from the restaurant came to rescue us (probably because they were woefully understaffed), and our food got cold. When we finally started jumping up and down we got someone's attention. They brought us boxes to pack up our uneaten meals & claimed this had never happened before. No one offered us a apology or even a discount or a replacement of the food to be eaten somewhere else in the restaurant. One of the staff implied it was our fault because we ate outside and he was clearly not surprised by the onslot of bees. When I opened up the box at home, i found two dead bees under my porkchop so it had to be thrown away. I have eaten here before and generally liked the food but this whole matter was handled terribly by the restaurant staff. We all wasted alot of money on what turned out to be bee food and spent most of our time fighting off bees. None of us got to enjoy the birthday / dining experience because the restaurant staff did not intercede. I am very disappointed that no one offered to move us or to re heat the meals to try and salvage our outing.

We visited on a Saturday around 1 pm, and the restaurant was nearly empty with just one other table occupied. Since the Saturday menu was different from the regular one, we weren’t able to order what we had originally planned. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great.

The table was sticky enough that even picking up a glass of water was unpleasant. There was only one person working as both the waiter and host. I ordered the shrimp spaghetti, which came with about five small-to-medium shrimp and some tomato pieces. The dish was just average, but at $28 it felt overpriced. They did bring out complimentary focaccia bread, which was a nice touch. Overall though, I wouldn’t return.
