Updated review: Well, this has been a depressing update. DV was one of my favorite places in Davis, but sadly they wiped almost all their breakfast options. Now it’s mostly bagels and drinks. I’ve dropped my review to 3 stars, this honestly made me a bit sad. This was such a safe space for me to get breakfast. I’ve mentally reframed the situation as viewing DV as just a cafe - rather than a restaurant. The sooner others do this the sooner you can begin healing ❤️🩹

Some of the reviews are mid, but I really enjoyed it! The scrambled tofu was really good, loved the veg cream cheese bagel. Also the vegan pastries were *really* solid! Service was nice and I liked the environment too.

I visited Delta of Venus while in Davis for a brief work trip and fell in love! It’s a perfect college town coffee shop, complete with shelves of books to borrow or purchase. They made me an impeccable oat milk cappuccino and just look at this yogurt bowl! Their house-made granola is to die for and their selection and preparation of fresh fruits was so thoughtful and wonderful. Based on other reviews, it seems they’ve dramatically reduced their menu in recent months, but I hope they will expand it again in the future. If their yogurt bowl is any indication, I’m sure their other food would be equally amazing!

This is my favorite business in Davis. I am sad to see that they have reduced the size of their food menu drastically. This is probably the only restaurant in Davis that you can get a meal under $10. It is so full of whit and charm. I never noticed their free library, as well as the books for sale on the wall. They have delicious tea and the avocado toast was simple yet satisfying. The patio is so inviting and there is plenty of space to sit and work indoors as well. They always have local art on display. Please support your local businesses - I would love to see Delta bring their full menu back - I loved the bean stew special they had for awhile.

This place is a true gem in Davis! The cozy, eclectic atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. Their menu offers a wonderful variety of fresh, flavorful options, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan-friendly choices. I ordered the veggie scramble without cheese and added tofu. iI was so healthy and absolutely delicious!
The coffee is always fantastic too, and the patio is a great place to unwind on a sunny day. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always create a relaxed, inviting vibe. Don’t miss their vegan cookies and brownies. They are out of this world! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Davis. It’s a must-visit!

Kid-friendliness: Welcoming to kids. A couple of kids board games inside and a parking lot for active games (I've played badminton with my daughter there and seen others kick a soccer ball).

One of the staples of Davis. An amazingly great cafe that has awesome food (breakfast, lunch), some beers, and evening events from time to time. Any town would be lucky to have a coffee shop half as good as Delta. I can't overstate how great Delta is.
