Great vegan burritos, but I'm sad there is no vegan horchata.
This restaurant honestly deserves a Michelin star. The salsa bar is amazing and their fish tacos make my mouth water just thinking about them. Hands down some of the best food in town.
Great food! Reasonable prices. Cold beer!
Awesome fish & pork tacos, numerous local beers on tap, and prompt & friendly service, a must visit local eatery while in Davis CA!
Reposting here since Guads wants to take down and hide my review.
I am writing to express my outrage over an appalling experience I recently had at this establishment. I have been a loyal customer of Guads, but after what happened during my last visit, I will not be returning unless serious action is taken.
An employee--who identified herself as Angelica--was not only blatantly rude and disrespectful, but handed me my order with a visible attitude and an unmistakable scowl. That level of unprofessionalism alone was shocking. However, the situation became absolutely unacceptable when I discovered a strand of her hair in my food. There is no excuse for such a blatant violation of basic hygiene and health safety standards.
This isn't just a case of poor customer service--it's a health hazard and a reflection of gross negligence. Someone who behaves this way while handling food and interacting with customers has no place working in your restaurant.
I urge you to take immediate and appropriate action. If this is the level of service and sanitation being allowed, it puts all of your customers at risk--and reflects incredibly poorly on your brand.
We hired this restaurant to cater for our backyard wedding celebration and they were fantastic. They brought their equipment and cooked the meats fresh and warmed up the tortillas on the flat top. All of the guests were impressed with the quality of the tacos and all the ingredients. I haven't been to their restaurant, but they knocked the catering for our party out of the park. Thank you so much ❤️
Halal chicken ... Tacos and tasty enchiladas salsa
I'm definitely going to be back.
Guad’s Tacos and Beer is a small, clean Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is very chill. They have a vast selection of beers on tap and there are a few TVs around the restaurant displaying sports games. You order at the counter and the kind staff bring the food out to your table. There is a chips and salsa bar where you can help yourself. They have an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. Their menu features vegetarian/vegan burritos, quesadillas, tacos, nachos, and more. They offer three different kinds of beans (black, pinto, and refried), all of which are vegan. They even offer soy chorizo as a plant based protein option. The staff is very open to customizations to their menu options (i.e, adding fries to your burrito, turning your burrito into a bowl, etc.). My go to order is their vegetarian burrito with grilled veggies added. I usually alternate between their black and refried beans. I usually pair my burrito with their delicious horchata (vegetarian). It’s very creamy, perfectly spiced and sweetened, and refreshing. The burrito is very large and can even be shared between two people for a lighter meal. All of the ingredients are perfectly seasoned and balanced. The chips and salsa bar is very tasty and fresh. They have a wide variety of different salsas and condiments. My only gripe is that none of the salsas are particularly spicy, so I usually add some of the habanero hot sauce that is on each table to my burrito for an extra kick. The staff prepares the food quick and you can even order online ahead of time at guadsdavis.com if you’re in a hurry. My meal usually comes out to under $15 which is perfect for college students on a budget. Being that it is a very short walk from campus, I would highly recommend Guad’s to all of my fellow vegans and vegetarians.

This is a great Mexican restaurant. They have one of the best vegan burritos I've tried. Free chips & salsa bar. Nice portions. The guacamole came in a pile on a plate, which was a bit odd.

Food is delicious!! But I saw something that I wanna share. When I was sitting there, One of the workers there with the name of Coco Was sweeping the carpet with a broom. The carpet on the side of the salsa and soda bar. You do not imagine all the dust that she was picking up with the broom. She was using the broom like really hard picking up all the dust she can. I can see all the dust going into the salsas and chips and around. In my opinion, they should use a little vacuum instead of using a broom to clean the carpet. Since I stopped going to that place. But other than that, the food is good.
Good place for fast, cheep and good food.

I was ignored. I waited over an hour for my food. No apologies no compensation and the food was just OK. Very rude and disappointing.
