Atmosphere is family friendly. With lots of space. Kid potion is big. The sushi selection is wide and the nigiri is still good and fresh. Not the places with just big piece of rice and big slices of fish as nigiri.
We recently visited Huku Japanese Bistro, and it exceeded our expectations. The sushi is fresh with high-quality ingredients. The service is also noteworthy, with friendly and attentive staff who make sure you feel welcome.
We first ordered their spicy edamame and wow it was really spicy but somehow addicting. Can’t stop munching it. And we also ordered some of the sashimi and it’s so fresh and the cut was thick too 😍 Their combo bento offers great value...

This place has seemed to have gotten worse. I've been here once last year, and since then, prices have substantially increased while dishes have decreased a bit in quality.
Still the best quality sushi dishes in/around Davis, but wouldn't come back at these prices.
