Sweet and cozy little restaurant. Friendly staff. Great alcohol and food selection. Ordered red wines and a 10" combo (meat and veggie) to split. Could have packed that pizza away myself but splitting also left room for dessert. Ordered one of each, the brownie and the tiramisu. If you're looking for a place to eat in Davis with great outdoor seating, this may be the place to go! A favorite of my mom, Village Pizza & Grill has always been a very quality place to dine in my experience. They have a great menu with loads of customization options - I opted for their most basic burger but I've had their pizzas before and they really let you mix and match! The pizza is great: wood fired with a chewy crust, simple sauce and high quality toppings. The burgers are just ok and the Middle Eastern food is bland and disappointing. Salads are hit or miss, as is service.
