Sweet and cozy little restaurant. Friendly staff. Great alcohol and food selection. Ordered red wines and a 10" combo (meat and veggie) to split. Could have packed that pizza away myself but splitting also left room for dessert. Ordered one of each, the brownie and the tiramisu. While the brownie was the perfect texture, under-cooked and gooey.. they were both however "nothing to write home about". Also a very small portion you will receive for the price that you pay. The pizza however was a home run. They hit the sweet spot with the flavor combination, the amount of toppings and the crust! A+ on the meat and veggie combo pizza.

If you're looking for a place to eat in Davis with great outdoor seating, this may be the place to go! A favorite of my mom, Village Pizza & Grill has always been a very quality place to dine in my experience. They have a great menu with loads of customization options - I opted for their most basic burger but I've had their pizzas before and they really let you mix and match! Whatever you order though don't miss out on their appetizers - probably the most impressive part of the whole meal. Their calamari was fantastic and my side of fries were honestly to die for. Overall I'm impressed and will likely be back soon!

Looking forward to Sunday brunches at Village Grill! Great food in a wonderful old home in downtown Davis. Hoping that during 15 months of the pandemic, they have figured out a way to have more than one coffee pot for the entire restaurant on a busy Sunday morning!

The most awful food I have ever ordered. I would have given zero stars if I could. They served leftover rice in a cup and potato salad in takeout bag!
I think I enjoyed the kabob plate more than the pizza. I would recommend beef kabob over chicken as the beef was pretty flavorful and chicken can come out dry occasionally. One great thing about the pizzas is that you can do half/half so you can pick two different topping flavors if sharing with other people. They have (pretty comfortable) outdoor seating so definitely recommend checking it out !

This is the 2nd time I've eaten there, and both times the food was pretty good but not great, and the service was friendly but a bit slow and inattentive. The burgers we had this last time were cooked perfectly and had a nice bun, but the house spread had a very strong flavor that we found a bit... odd -- not awful, mind you, but it definitely detracted from what was otherwise a very good burger, so maybe ask for it on the side.

My go-to spot for a good drink and some yummy food!! They always have a great selection of beers on tap and you can't go wrong with a pizza and salad for dinner! They have an amazinggg patio decked out with heaters, lights, and an awesome fireplace as well as a super spacious covered patio area. The beet and goat cheese salad is DELICIOUS, we also love the avocado and white cheddar burger and of course you can't go wrong with any of their pizzas!!! It's the best time when Jeff is working, he is sooo personable and always has the best recommendations!! Super attentive and always happy, the best combination in any server, he's our favorite!!
