I have visited the Inn on multiple occasions to capture wedding photos! The major upside of staying here, regardless of the downsides, is just how close it is to the popular spots in the park. Other hotels are just not as close since everything outside of the park is far away. It's also a beautiful location with some good amenities. Just keep in mind that the park is still remote and this location can sometimes lose electricity. It's all a part of the fun!
We had a delicious dinner with fantastic service. Mike, our waiter, had great recommendations for the menu options as well as upcoming road trip stops. Reservations are required for dinner.
Dining options in Death Valley are limited. While we were not staying at the Inn, we chose to go there for dinner, hoping for an upscale meal.
I’m still not clear on whether we were refused admittance to the restaurant because we weren’t staying there or not, but they claimed didn’t have space for us, even though the restaurant was clearly less than half full.
