Love the interior of this ice cream parlor. Ice cream is not so cheap but all supplies do have to come from outside the parkIt is located in the privately owned resort within Death Valley. A great oasis in the desert heat. Lots of shady places to sit.

We stopped in on our way through Death Valley after the visitor center. We were so surprised that there was an ice cream parlor and the website said they also had burgers, fries and hot dogs. Perfect, because we were hungry. We came in and the atmosphere is really cute. Green bar stools line a long counter. Colorful candy bowls and stacked shakes and malt glasses align the back wall. Although a bit pricey, the ice cream portions are heaping. I enjoyed the Huckleberry and Mint Chocolate Chip flavors, and the waffle cone was thin, crispy, and fresh. Lovely interior and plenty of indoor (bar stools, tables) and outdoor (wraparound porch, park benches at across the street) seating. In addition to ice cream, they do milkshakes and sundaes as well.
