“Best fried chicken ever! I drive 20-30 minutes out of my way for Calvin's fried chicken a couple times a month. And, they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer so it's celiac safe. My whole family loves Calvin's Korean Fried Chicken. My husband likes the wings and gets the hot garlic soy and another hot flavor. My favorite is the garlic soy tenders. My daughter loves the original tenders with ranch.“

“My roommate heard I was meeting a friend at our favourite Bonchon for lunch and persuaded me to come here instead. When she recommends food, I am never disappointed, and bonus that this is closer to work and home, too! We ordered three flavours to try, and all were fantastic. My favourite was between Saigon and Honey Jam. My friend loved the Sweet and Spicy. The chicken breading was light and crispy, inside hot and juicy, fried to perfection. Loved the cute little menu holders on each table. Welcome to the neighborhood and see you again soon!
Parking: The parking lot can get busy at peak times, but I’ve always been able to find a spot near my destination.“

“Bf and I wanted to get a quick bite before our movie at the AMC started and was immediately greeted by Matilda with some of the best hospitality I’ve ever gotten at a burger place, let alone a mall location. Matilda was very sweet and would always check up on us while we dined in, offering to clear our table and asked if we needed any extra sauces, etc. pls give Matilda their flowers because they definitely deserve it!! That’s how you do customer service <3 May Matilda’s pillow always be cold on both sides haha“

“Pete’s doesn’t disappoint. Great fast service, incredible flavor and cheap prices for the quality you get. Also, fishing tip… I ordered too much food and we had about half a coney dog left from my nephew (not sure how with how great they tasted but we ate too much) we used it for bait and instantly got hit when the whole group was skunked all day. Foodie approved, fish certified with regret after eating the deliciousness and being hooked.“

“After trying all the Korean fried chicken in San Diego, this is one of the best. The size of the chicken is huge! Very flavorful with lots of meat for a great price.

“I had seen this place on insta and had been wanting to try it. We order a half chicken with the signature sauce and it was very delicious! 10/10 The sauce was good and the chicken was tasty. We also had the onion rings, I liked them but there was nothing special 8/10. The cheese balls were good, but not my fav since they were sweet on the outside and I am personally not a fan of sweet. Unfortunately, many of their items were sold out, many of them the popular ones, and which I was hoping to try. Other than that it was a great meal, I would recommend and will be back ☺️

“From the outside, it’s unassuming and I had no idea it was a korean fried chicken place!! Apparently it’s the #1 rated korean fried chicken place in Japan.
I thoroughly enjoyed mine though the class mild sauce was a bit sweet. The other one we tried was the black aglio (black garlic and special soy). They have a lunch combo everyday which includes 3 pc boneless 3 piece wings, fried rice or steamed rice, and cole slaw, and a fountain drink for $15.95.
They also kindly gave our party free gyoza on the house which was really nice!“

“So they open epic wings at Dennery road. By Palm Ave. South Bay..They were not good at all like other locations I have visited like National city and Chula Vista..But today October 23 we bought some wings here at Dennery road and they totally turned around!!!. “The location of this korean fried chicken place is in a business area so it is pretty dead on the weekend and there is ample parking. While there was plenty of seating with kpop videos playing in the background, we opted for takeout. They have a variety of different chicken flavors that you can get whole, as wings, or boneless. We tried two different flavors of boneless wings (soy garlic and gang-jeong) and a kimchee fried rice. The boneless chicken pieces were huge, crispy and covered with sauce. We probably should have tried for more variety as both flavors were similar (gang-jeong was a lil spicy). Overall we were impressed with the amount and quality. Would come back again to try other chicken flavors.
