We went for the date shakes. Excellent! Ended up buying eggs, red and green peppers, too. Nice market with excellent date shakes, and ice cream. Other deli food, daily specials available. If you blink, you might miss it. There is a patio in the back. It was windy the day we were there, so did not go back there. Limited parking out front.
The BEST and ONLY real date shake in Coachella! Don't settle for Shield's ice-milk date-syrup shakes--ice-milk is no comparison to a date shake made with delicious ice cream! The Windmill Market in Palm Springs is a gem❣️?

So good!! My husband grew up in a palm Springs and we have been enjoying date shakes for 40 years together and have tried them all. The date shakes here are the real deal. They are the only one that uses real dates and ice cream. Not date flakes or ice milk. The pastrami sandwich is so good also and enjoy the peaceful patio. If you see the bus there come back later. It’s a small family store and can get busy
