“We ordered the spicy hummus, garlic fries, beef shawarma, babakenush?, and cauliflower. My friend saw the baclava and had to try it. So we started with desser. The pistachio was very crispy and chewy and was my friends favorite. The walnut was sweet and chewy which was my favorite. Everything was absolutely delicious! The spicy hummus had a little kick at the beginning but as we ate we didn't taste the kick anymore. The cauliflower is lightly fried and so freaking delicious! I ate it by itself or with some hummus. My friend ate it with the babakanush and some cauliflower sauce and was in love. I tried her babakanush. I don't like eggplant but this was really delicious! Had a lovely garlic flavor that was slightly addicting. The garlic fries was just fries sprinkled with garlic powder but dipped it in the hummus and it was good. The pitas were really good too. I could've eaten more if I wasn't so full. But the beef shawarma was freaking AMAZING!!!!! We both said this was the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. I said no tomatoes to my beef shawarma which I'm glad I did. The flavor was absolutely amazing without it. Definitely 10/10 no complaints at all. And service was awesome too! So kind, friendly, and funny. I can't wait to come back again!“

“We ordered the Skewers Mixed Grill (Mshakkal) from Aladdin Jr Restaurant and Cafe in Covina through DoorDash and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size is incredible — it says it serves 2–3 people, but honestly it easily fed four of us with leftovers. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
The meats were tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the variety in the mixed grill makes it perfect for sharing. The rice and sides complemented the skewers really well and everything tasted fresh and authentic.
Another thing we really appreciated was the packaging. Our order arrived neatly packed and still warm, which makes such a difference when ordering delivery.
We’ve ordered from here multiple times and they’re consistently good, and the portions always leave us with leftovers for the next day (which taste just as great!).
The only thing we wish is that they offered their own delivery, because we would definitely order even more often. But even through DoorDash, it’s totally worth it.

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. The flavors were great, the food was fresh, and the restaurant is kept very clean and tidy. The bread in unreal and tastes so good from their oven. The food and service are excellent in every sense of the word. The bread and baklava were made fresh! The Turkish Delights were phenomenal.
