“Cute little ice cream shop with very creamy ice cream. While some of the flavors are hit or miss, the ice cream base is great. I'm partial to the circus animal ice cream. The only suggestions I have for the business are; 1) when a flavor is popular, make double because it seems to run out fairly quickly and 2) try to be more consistent with serving sizes. The staff who work really hard to scoop (some of the ice cream seems especially rock solid) deserve a tip! They can skip the gym for arm day!“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Fruitopia Fruit Bowls in downtown Brentwood! Kaylie made my visit truly memorable. From the moment I walked in, her great attitude and genuine warmth stood out. The customer service was awesome, attentive, friendly, and welcoming. What impressed me most was how knowledgeable she was about the products; she answered all my questions and helped me pick exactly what I was in the mood for.

Big kudos to the establishment, too. The location right next to the public library is genius! such a smart, convenient spot to grab something fresh. The variety is excellent, with a great healthy selection that makes it easy to feel good about what you’re ordering. My green juice was delicious.

If you’re in downtown Brentwood, do yourself a favor and stop by Fruitopia. Ask for Kaylie, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Great coffee, great service! I ordered sugar-free golden eagle iced coffee and a sausage slider. Food was really tasty and the coffee was spot on. No sugar-free weird after taste that can happen with some sugar free drinks. Service was quick and friendly and the outside was clean and well maintained..just wish they had a place to sit and enjoy my coffee. Great start to my day.“

“Love this donut shop! I work late and when I get off early mornings I wait till they open, sometimes 40 mins. I crave these donuts. Fresh, sweet, and made with love and cleanliness. The owners are very sweet and smiling. Please if you happen to visit or have gone here before speak with them. Yes they're there to get ur order but a simple hi how are you? Or a good morning wouldn't hurt. Thank you guys for making such quality foods.

“I’ve been a loyal Dutch customer since Oakley opened, and as good as the coffee has been it’s always been the people that made it so enjoyable. I wanna give a huge shout out to Emily, one of Brentwoods Broistas. While chatting the other day waiting on a drink I somehow brought up the time they messed up my “usual” drink and it was THE BEST THING EVER but I could never figure out what they did. Since then she made it her MISSION to make me that perfect drink and todays nomination nailed it! Brown sugar cinnamon, chocolate and caramel… tastes like a cinnamon teddy graham! So I hope you guys take care of your people because they’re definitely taking care of us! Give that girl a bonus!“

“Wow this bakery is here with Paris Baguette not too far either. Hopefully an H-Mart or big Asian supermarket opens up in the area soon!

Very bright, open, and clean with plenty of seats.

Got the croquettes from the oven warmer and crispy crossaints. The croquettes were cold since the warmer wasnt turned on. The crossaint was ok. Cakes - pricey but looks very nice and fancy. Sliced cakes are small for that price point tho.

“...so glad i finally stopped in here, i always drove by and kept meaning to. had the matcha latte and a mochi donut, both were really goed and the service was fast. the pasteries look amazing even if you just grab something to go. its definitely going to be my new spot when i need a quick treat or coffee on the way to work for sure.“

“I’ve been coming here with my family for years now and never had a problem with the service or quality of food. The donuts are delicious, and the service is fast, easy, and polite. This is a small, family-owned business, so I am always proud to support.

The only thing I would change about Sunshine Doughnut is their lack of vegan and gluten-free options. I know that since this is a small business, it may be more difficult for them to introduce these options, but we live in California, and there’s many people who would benefit from food catering to their dietary needs, including myself.

Nevertheless, I love Sunshine Doughnut and recommend it to anybody in the Brentwood area looking for a quick sweet treat. You won’t regret coming here.“

“When I attended high school, I was always so excited when I had Willys money! During both my pregnancy’s, they were always my number one craving! In 2021, we moved across the US and I was so sad that there wasn’t one out here. In March 2023 my husband went home on business and drove 45 minutes out of his way to bring me some home! “Veronica didn’t look at me, like Barista’s do at the outside Starbucks, when you ask for something specific. She said “let’s try it!” She put her own SUPER SECRET SPIN on the drink and it was HANDS DOWN the best frapp I’ve ever had! I called it V’s BB Sweet Cream Frap! Yes, the drink was great but the customer service that I got was way cool. I felt like I was joking with one of my “girls”! So DOUBLE PROPS for Veronica, her low key old school approach to customer service and her MAD BARISTA INVENTION SKILL!
Also, I’m so used to people looking down on me. I have an autoimmune disease that has slowly over the last 7 years taken my teeth. After losing my excellent dental insurance it was very hard to keep up with the deterioration over the years. I don’t go out, take pictures or even attempt dating because of the judgement I do receive when I’m out in public. I get it, I’m guilty of it too. I appreciate employees like Veronica who give me some normalcy when I take the chance, leave the house and interact with the world! I’m sure she had no idea what doing her job correctly, could do for this 52 year old single mom! Thanks for more than just the coffee Veronica!“
