“The place is gorgeous, especially if you love a nice terrace. The food... Is it because it's the only middle Eastern gluten free place, or is it because the ingredients are fresh, or is it because the preparation is perfect, or maybe it's all the small details... I think it's all of the above, one of the best middle Eastern places in LA, and the best gluten free one :) enjoy their manahish!“

“We were here for a Saturday Brunch with a party of 8. The service was good, and our waiter was nice and very patient with us. Food was served quickly and, for the most part, was delicious. Everyone who ordered eggs was unhappy and didn't eat them. They did not taste like anything at all, and the texture was watery. We were also a little disappointed in how greasy the bacon was. Overall, not bad.. just expected a little more quality for the price.“

“Party of 4. 3 of us got the 3 fo $30. Decent value for a starter, entree and dessert. Everyone loved their food. My ceaser salad was very good. French pot roast was delicious, but could have been a bit warmer. All desserts were very tasty as well. Service was very good and friendly. Have always enjoyed the French atmosphere of Mimi's. NOLA French Quarter feel ?“

“I work in Uptown Whittier and appreciate that this place is within walking distance! I got the chicken teriyaki bowl with pineapple and green onion and it was sooooo delicious ? The meat was flavorful and tender. Will definitely be ordering from here again!“

“You must make reservations to eat here and only on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Very pretty atmosphere. There are TV's showing them preparing your food. Really cool to see hands on learning taking place. They give you a few options from a set menu for the week and you can pay extra if you want to try more than one. It is a 3-course meal. Appetizer, main course and dessert. Very cool experience. I would go again.“
“At night, The Lakeview Bistro turns into a Mexican themed restaurant. They have their own menu of Mexican favorites. There is a jukebox that plays Mexican favorite songs. It's been open for about 3 months. Surprisingly certain items were VERY GOOD and authentic. I recommend the Queso Fundido, Caldo de Pollo, Caldo de Fideo and Roasted Elote -Mexican style. It was homemade with super tasty with fresh ingredients. Yummy. But chips were a bit stail. The restaurant bar is sub par since they only have Smirnoff vodka and limited wine selection, but overall if you order tequila and certain appetizers or soups, it's delicious here. Service was nice and friendly. It's a nice different touch at night from The normal Westin bistro vibe.“

“Having lunch with my daughter is a tradition at Mimi. We love the food. The tomato basil soup is amazing and her favorite. I just had to order the turkey dinner which was fantastic. Tony C. took great care of us. Service was quick and attentive.“
